I live on one of the islands in the bottom of the map (about 0.5 km away from swamp) not too far from the edge of the world. Every couple of in-game days one of thesee pop in to say hello. I absolutely destroy them. I used to almost die but now I have all sorts of good apprentice weapons. I once used the bed to call it Sarco Island but because it is very peaceful it is now called Haven Island.

Also one of these things killed my pteranodon Linda.

If a sarco atakes you go in the water and it won't be able to hit you because of its speed

I saw one outside my base and I thought me and my dilo were dead and then my dilo lv1 kiled a lv7 sarco

If you live in the south zone like me crocs like to come out of the water/bushes and DESTROY you if I were you move to a new Zone It worked for me

Do not go anywhere near large ponds , this is there home and you are in danger if you are a low level

Lake Placid style just beware if ur a very low lvl

Usually wandering around southern zones. It was the very first thing that ever attacked me. Luke litterally right as I spawned it it was there.

If you encounter a sarco TAME straight away these things have good swimming ability and great melee damage,it’s also quite cute once you get used to it (use narcotics and tranq arrows to tame) EATS MEAT!

Stay away from these in the water. If met drag it to land as fast as possible they are extremely slow on land

if any of your stuck in . simply go to ur base putting ur rame in passive. and then request tamed creature from ur profile . eazy .

Find a cliff near by and lure it there. Make sure you'r above where it can get you. Get some kind of long ranged weapon ,like a spear(multiple), or bow. It may take several hits, but it will die easily enoouph.

If you are in water, sacrifice one of your tribe mates or tames and swim for your life. If you are on land you can probably outrun it.

Found in south areas by river. Occasionally comes up and terrorizes you.

Hate these morons they just appear and attack you and killed my 2nd dilo and dodo

These guys are not hard to take on land... my three low lvl dilos (4,5,7) took one down early game. I don’t know the level of the sarco because I was running away (I thought I was in trouble) but when all 3 of my dilos returned, one of them had a recipie, some arrows, and a sling in its inventory, presumably from the sarco.

Use tranq arrows and a butt ton of meat

This is so powerful but It did not kill my level 3 dodo it did a lot of bites but still my dodo did not die

People all ways say stealing a trike egg is the worst thing ever. I stole a sarco egg and he ripped me up and turned me into ripped ham. He wasn’t done though and he came to my base with his mate and they killed my 3 gigas and my Rex plus a wild spino next to my base and he and she wreaked everything and kept killing me. Now that 8 said that, don’t go up to a trike egg and steal that it’s also bad.
