Okay so I was walking one day with five meat in my inventory. The “dangerous area” sign showed up and I saw him. A sarco was standing right there. I had no choice but to fight it. Surprisingly it was easy. Only half of my health was taken. I was only level twenty so I recommended this for a beginner tame.

If you want to tame one it’s not that hard if you bring the right equipment. You should have 7+ narcotics and 70+ regular meat (40 for tameing 30 for hunger) and 7+ tranq arrows

I’ve tamed a sarcosuchus they are fast in water but if you can make it sprint it will be the fastest thing I know that can swim.

People keep saying to trap them or something like that but you just have to get them stuck between a rock and a tree

You can easy just stand on a cliff while they fail to climb up. They don't drown when you knock them out in water. Another alternative and !y favorite is standing on a paracer, bronto, or diplodocus and shooting it from there.

Effective aquatic taming dino since baryonyx can't outrun mosasaurus and mosa taming pens are super expensive and taming a tusoteuthis is even more expensive.

It’s turn radius is bad. Get up close and make it turn, then, KO it with the weapon of your choice (club, slingshot, etc) they prefer fish tho.

I was walking and i got killed by one of these,so i respawned,and my cousin and i went to attempt to tame it.We did.

A sarco attacked me and killed me but I had a dilo at the time lv28 which killed the lv35 sarcowhile I was dead. 12 lvls

I always stand on a rock and shoot it with a bow but otherwise hit it in the back legs its turns are super slow

You can get these guys through Dino gates by getting a saddle jumping on it and just jumping while riding him!

I have found while riding a Sacro that it is extremely powerful. I put in for health and Melee and stamina and i was able 5o defeat 4 to 5 Rexs at one time and a alpha raptor and a few Griffins and it is really good at getting around on water and taking out fishes and i haven't swam in the ocean due to my level isnt high enough to get the scuba gears but other than that the things said about the Scaro is true and i would use a Scaro to go anywhere the only problem is it attack cone i would assume it would be able to use it tail like a alligator would to hit a target but it still really powerful and i hope dear readers you find this creature really good just put in health, melee, and stamina and you can rule Ark.

All you have to know is their butt heads. Whatever your doing no matter what they'll come out of the bushes/water and kill you. Best to not mess with.

Mutton taming on 2x stats are off. Says 18 mutton coming out with 70 bonus levels. Took a few more pieces and only came out with 68 bonus levels. Not off by much. But still off

Sarcos are the second fastest tamable creature in the game (beat by ptero) and do not use stam while sprinting in water

I've been trying to get a sarco but every single time I get one something attacks while it's unconscious and each time I decide to whistle for aggressive mode on my baryonyx with really high modifiers on the server he instakills my sarco while he attacks the other dino and I keep forgetting so I keep doing it.

If you are a noob like me and aren’t ready to take on one of these, then let other creatures kill it for you. They are very slow on land and are normally found in the same environment as the carbonemyes (however you spell it). Just get it to follow you and go behind a carbonemyues and then as the two fight if you help the turtle you cane get the goodies and prime meat it drops.
