It's a really good tame especially in water. Use one of these around like 40-50 to kill alpha megladons easy. Just circle around and hit their tail or body and it can't hit you back. Just watch for you're oxygen (sarco has infinite oxygen).

Well I managed to tame it with both fish and regular meat by just running around in circles while hitting it until it passed out as it would do the same trying to bite me. I was in the region: The Southern Islets, particularly the part of them with the island where it’s all sand and cliffs, they tend to roam there. They can also roam in the swamp but it’s much harder to tame them so go to The Southern Islets if your going to tame these (look in your status menu in inventory to know which region your in)

Probably the best mount for survivors below lvl 50. Super easy to tame, it's saddle is only at lvl 35 and just like turtles it's body is low enough that you can "ride" it without a saddle. Decent speed on land, best turn of any dino, relatively strong, extremely fast in water. Just beware Raptors can dismount you off a sarco (the largest creature Raptors can dismount you off of is the rock drake) and baryonyx will aggro and can stun lock when in water. Right click (or left trigger on console) is a death roll which is basically as useful as the therizinos peck, C (right stick on console) makes your 40 foot gharial lunge in the direction of which it last sspinned, attacking while looking behind you will make it spin around giving it the best turn in the game, lunge doesn't work in water, beware wild sarcos can grab you for several seconds and dismount you off some small dinos.

Incredibly easy to knock out, they are really slow on land and have a really small attack aoe just beware of its lunge attack when you get close to it and you can easily lose a sarco if it gets in water.

Essentially it’s a weaker spino that’s slower on land but faster in the water. You can find them in the ocean by the most western spawn area

Find Sarco before it finds you. Don't go in the water. Collect wood and stone. Place four foundations near water, walls around two high with two doorways on side away from Sarco. Build ramps on side near water. Make the Sarco chase you up and in with you running out the back. Fill Sarco with tranq arrows. Enjoy mount.

We were taming one when out of nowhere it glitchs through the wall and trys to kill us!

If you ever have a Sarco running up do you on your lower level try steering away from the head because if you punch the back you could possibly tame it

Well it has good loot from it if beginners like me I killed 1 today it has a advace weapons or tools on it.And also it just level 1 to 5 I just killed it by just using a bow and arrow and a tamed parasuar I'd killed it so hit the up arrow so early ark survival players can it

To encounter this creature check the swaps.

I guarantee you will find at least one if you dismount to remove leeches off your dino or raid a beaver dam.

These guys are all over the swamp regions of the island, and their swift swim speed means they'll ambush you quite easily. Stay aware of your surroundings.

Take advantage of their poor turn radius and move to the shores so they move more slowly.

My sarco always gets stuck between trees and rocks. If you’re trying to tame one try and get it stuck. Up so noobs can get this beast early on. Btw if it isn’t obvious get as many narcotics as you can. I also recommend just killing a few colecanths or piranhas for taming food.

Use soothing balm works really fast just tamed one in two seconds

If you live by the coast, these are excellent for travel but if you live deep into the island, don’t consider them. One way I use them is I ride down to the ocean and mine oil rocks and it’s a really easy way to get oil.

WARNING: 1. Make your trips short and quick down there because Sarcos don’t rise and lower in the ocean all to quick and oil rocks are typically down low, and because of oxygen

2. The ocean is dangerous so before you go down there make 100% sure you are safe

3. If there are jellyfish near an oil rock or even far away in the distance, go down there alone with a crossbow and shoot them down they will put your sarco to sleep leaving it defenseless.

It's slow AF, but usually is near Kapros and Boas, so beware. But if you manage to find one all alone just shoot in head. He'll take an age to reach you so just walk back and shoot in head again until his K.O. Then pop in stack of meat and done.

Sarcos are really good for clearing swamps because they are really fast in water, they do this barrel roll thing which shreds your enemies health, they have good health and sarco also go BRRRRR

Is a bad animal but in water its fast! And it has loooots health - damage you can find thees at swamp
