If youre on Simple difficulty,you only need around 20 tranq arrows. Farm around 40 fish meat,it shouldn't be hard. And find a ledge where the sarco cannot completely climb. While it is on the ledge,shoot tranq arrows. Congrats,youve knocked out a low level sarco.

This is a glitch. Be careful going on land as sometimes the sarco takes a lot of “fall” damage. The longer your in the water the more damage your sarco takes. To me it only happened on that island in the redwoods. That’s not the only place though.

These guys are actually quite useful especially at a high level. On mobile while riding it swipe up for a jump attack and swipe down for a WEE smackdown

How to tame a sarco:

A sarco is a big crocodile that lurks in southern coasts, swamps, and rivers. It wil leap out of nowhere and it drops prime.

Materials:

A hundred arrows or so use crossbow or high percentage bow. Don’t waste darts.

A character and some ark safari tame experience.

How to tame:

1. Find sarco on land.

2. Lead it on land. In water they become Rexes to bobs.

3. Shoot tranqs on its face. Don’t get jumpscared by other Dinos especially kapros and boas.

4. Tame with FISH meat or PRIME.

5. Make an oddly costly saddle for this easily tamed bad boy.

Utility:

Defense: they do great dmg and are easy tames.

Hunting: slow on land, they have dps and insta turn on their side.

Water travel: in water they are FAST fast.

Alpha killer (aquatic): can kite alpha megs and if done with caution I BELIEVE BUT NOT SURE I think a bred and imprinted good level sarco can take on bigger threats, including caves I guess.

Give it some movespeed and maybe a little bit of health and you're good to go underwater for loot crate diving. Don't forget your GPS!

Ok guys, problem… I was feeding my sarcos (Jade, Tar, and Fungus) when I get a ‘YOU HAVE ENTERED A DANGEROUS AREA’ message. I live in a area with Literally NO danger creatures other than sarcos. So ya. I go onto capture mode and I see a sarco. Well I guess I’m getting a new pet

Guide for taming a high lvl sarcosuchus.

Step 1: Get urself up to 10/20 tranq Arrows (I used 13 for my lvl 95) and a bit of bio toxins

Step 2: shoot it while walking backwards or get on a rock and shoot it.

Step 3: when its knocked out u would stick raw meat and a few of bio toxins down its trought.

Step 4: when he's tamed get home.

Step 5: Put a saddle on his back and turborocket torpedo trough the water like a king >B3

They are really slow so if you have good aim you can do it on the floor and they are really powerful so I recommend taming this guy

So I haven’t yet seen one in aberration but on the island there are easy tames. If you have a slingshot with enough rocks to knock it out your set. It’s slow on land so if you lead it out then your good. The players default speed is faster than it I’m pretty sure so I’ve actually tamed a couple with a slingshot on the island.

Keep near back legs & hit with Pike. Their turn is terrible.

I recommend that if you want to tame one you should get tranq arrows or a club to knock out, you can use anything else that knocks out dinos. They arent very hard to tame at all.

Tame them now! And I think every ark players should take this thing. Its super fast on the water and it's also fast on land. But be careful because they are the scariest creatures in the swamp

Tamed one of these bad boys in my way to tame a baronyx. Came home with two new great tames. The Sarco, named Gatorade. The Baronyx, named Barry. Both are green, grey, and white males.

For beginners to tame it.spot it on low level at least below 15.

Make your movement speed 115 or+.

Get craft a slingshot and 50stones

Go and make him to spot you and run.

Make it come to land,go some distance from water.

And run and shoot. continue this.

If there is a pachy make the sarco to fight with pachy pachy and use slingshot to shoot. some times later it get torpur run and get down.(some times on your way there is some small dino like lystro of dodo cause of some glitch the little dino will not die that's your change)
