Tips & Strategies

When trying to store indoors, the tail can be a bit of a mystery on how it will sit. Sometimes it will be up and sometimes it will be into the floor. And in the water, it has two speeds. Stopped and Mach 1. This can make positioning it in a water pen difficult. A plus is they're one of the few water mounts that can let you shoot underwater while riding.
More Sarco Utility Tips
Once upon a time, my Sarco and I were hunting some Megalodons for fish meat, when a pack of Cnidaria stung the both of us, I tried to swim to the shore but it's too late. Mantas and Megs attacked me and my Sarco. My Sarco tried to fight back, biting his opponents. I swam back to the shore, and... My Sarco never came back. His dead corpse was a feast for Mantas and Megalodons. I hold my fists, my mind thirst for revenge. Rifle in hand, I swam back, shooting every Megalodon and Mantas I see. It was a bloodbath, bodies of Megalodon and Mantas floating in the ocean. I avenged his death… My Sarco…
Rain pours down to the land. He left his beloved wife and son.
One like = One Sarco lives.
Single player uses:
1. Early game power dino: Sarcos are fairly strong and very easy to tame.
2. Taming mount: Sarcos are aster than they look, can turn on a dime and you can use a weapon while riding them.
3. Aquatic mount: They're even faster and more agile underwater, just beware there is a glitch where they instantly die if they go on land, though it's very rare so unlikely to happen.
Four reasons they are useful
1: Fast in water
2: Can do barrel roll
3: Can breed than kill for skin for one of the bosses
4: Good attack
Two ways they aren’t useful
1: slow on land
2: Attacks are SOOO SSLLOOOWW…
Hope this helps pros and nerbs (funny way of saying noob) alike

TLC patch coming March 2018 adding "Deathroll" grab attack on small creatures and a grab attack (possibly thrash) on larger ones, gaining a 180 degree attack and a small lunge to its attack (maybe for deathroll purpose), will no longer aggo pirahnas and in the wild will sit with mouth gaped open awaiting prey.
