in the more section it says they can only damage thatch which is why I prefer the wolf

K these are for pvp because you need to use the thing that are in your invirment so you tame these +they can get to level 150 find those a lot a none stop breed a level 300 saves and soon 400s they are the best put point in to health it adds 10% of the existing health

Personally I think the saber tooth should have two different attack. The one attack is basically two but together so it would sometimes “bit” and mostly attacking using their paws. I think they should separate them and have similar if not the same attacks as the dire bear. Bitting and swiping their opponent with their paw, ofc they could decide which one does more damage and the amount of damage I just want them to give the saber something different so it isn’t that close to a dire wolf.

I am not a fan of these I was trying to tame an Argy and I was getting meat and this dude killed the Argy :(

Can outrun literally anything in Ark by spam jumping, and doesn't require a lot of stamina (between 600-700 should suffice)

Pretty much a more op direwolf (not more op than a thylacleo but not as weak as a direwolf) they also harvest chitin and hide much better and are generally a good caving mount

In my opinion this is a slightly worse raptor. Don’t tame it if u have a raptor and even if u need a mount, they get outclassed by so many things in caving and all terrain mount. U can even outrun them and they have raptor like stats

Alright, so while I was using this guy to farm some organic polymer on scorched earth I found out that you can actually bhop with this crazy cat. Almost killed him by accidentally zooming off the edge of a cliff. If you can bhop off of the top of a hill I swear you could easily go as fast as a gallimimus, even if you dont put any points into movement speed.

Who else think they should be the exact same size as a wolf👍🏼

If you jump non stop, you gain more and more speed, you can travel ridiculous distances in a straight line by spam jumping!

Anyone agrees that mobile devs should give these things an update?

Right now these things are completely outperformed by wolves. They have lower health, slightly lower damage, and lower attack speed than wolves. They also don’t have a pack/howl buff. Sabertooths have saddles but wolves don’t, this offset the lower stats on pc, but on mobile, you can put helmets on wolves, and even an ascendent hide helmet provides much better protection than a primitive saddle. The two are almost just as good as each other at collecting hide/chitin/keratin. The only reason why I would use a sabertooth is that they are more common and a bit easier to tame. However, in all of my saves I ended up killing my sabertooth after getting a few good wolves.

I think they could make sabertooth have a significant weight reduction for pelt cuz no creature has that right now and pelt is a pain in the back side to farm.

It can gather chitin quite well and if you can get a good saddle and good stat sabertooth you can do some of the caves
