One of the best tames in the game. I watch my brother when he plays. He breeds his high levels to make more. Any low levels wander in groups of four. And they collect their own meat. They also protect his property. Sabertooths are the BEST!!!!

If you have one of these guys never let them near just hatched baby raptors my dad had 2 eggs and each egg had twins (pretty lucky) he was taking meat out of his Rex’s inventory and turns around to see all 4 baby raptors getting Killed by his sabortooth we had to reset the game a couple of times and every time his baby raptors were getting killed by the sabortooth just wanted to let you guys know.

They are really fast whem you sprint jump. But they harvest a sick abount of silc, hide, meat, so on end on

mine only has 140% movement speed and it's lightning fast. The downer is that it's stamina runs out quickly like the direwolf

If you breed and got the best stats infact they're equal with dire wolf even better because they can fit saddle n you don't have to craft a good Armor like direwolf again and again after u run each cave. One good ascendant enough saddle will be his best protector until the end. Also they're beautiful on colour mutation 😻

They didn't give a tlc to these guys, they just remastered the model design and animation

1. Never leave your saber anywhere in a mountain I made that mistake and lost my sabertooth

2. Make the saddle first I think it is 280 hide and about 300 fiber and 20 metal ingots

They are the best low cost high reward carnivore there’s a million on Carno island literally 3 prime and a tranq dart tames them no narcotics needed

They should have a pin where they struggle to stand on their prey and if they succeed then they charge a massive attack with bleed carcha shred and huge damage. Seriously. They are useless right now. I hope they could be much better than that.

I think when tamed they should be able to control or punce animals as big as procoptodon but the rider shall type asdw according to the screen. If u fail your saber falls off but after some time the saber can charge an attack that deals like 80 base dmg. The saber shall be faster but smaller jump.

Underrated for caving. These guys are fricking fast and they got pretty nice stamina. They are the best for caving, if you don't believe me, try for yourself.

Get you some X sabers if you play on genesis. You'll get better sabers for caves. Trust me
