The rates listed are for the regular Saber, not the X variant. 11 shocking darts absolutely did not knock out a 140, it was closer to 20 darts.

If there are sabertooth attacking other dinos wait for him/her to kill them and distract him far away from predators i had to distract mine away from 3 allosaurus

Really fast mount, can out run a high lvl direwolf easy! Great for luring Dinos into safe taming pens, if on pve and unable to pick them up using a bird.

Simply Aggro it, lurę it to the trap, it can be wooden,you will knock it out with tranq darts or arrows before it destroys the trap, grab some meat, narcos and it's yours, you have a chitin and hide tank. ;)

Just find one alone tranq it don't kill it feed it no narcotics needed do this process for other saber and make a pack

If you are trying to get one of these things Lvl. 100+ don't use a crossbow! I left it with 3.6 HP. I got so lucky.

So where you can find them, is in the mountains.

So my personal method is to bola it and then make a little trap around it so that when it gets the bola off it can’t get away oh if you want a lot of them for raids and pvp you should play scorched earth map.

The first method is a bad one but works: grab turtle, let the sabertooth munch turtle, build trap during previous step , last step is tame

Next method, bola , knock out, tame

You can find them in antarctica

To easily KO a saber, use a longneck rifle(tranq dart) or use a normal bow(tranq arrow). With a fast mount, Make the saber fall in a trap atleast 4×4 foundations big and 1 wall tall with doorways. Shoot the saber with tranqs every 4-10 seconds till it sleeps. Sabers have fairly slow torpor drain so for a lvl 120 it will only take 250 narcotics when taming it woth meat. Once the taming proccess is done, let the saber naturally lvl up and upgrade its health to a comfortable amount and then upgrade a bit of weight and melee.

Make a taming pen->Take your argentavis->head on to the dead Island(carno island)->find a good level with spy glass->grab that sabertooth with your argentavis->bring saber back to your taming pen and drop'em!.->tranq 'em->

Feed 'em.

(If argentavis is on low of health,drop sabertooth on a safe place and kill some parasaur to regain health and stam)

Tip for developer if any..

Sabertooth needs a critical attack (35-45%+damage)after killing,for a period of time..[atleast they are saber toothed]

So taming a sabertooth is really easy like easer than taming a raptor so u can fine them on hill or mountains in the redwoods I recommend having a flying creature like a argie or somthing that can pick up a saber they spawn in packs so be careful anyways pick up the saber that u want with ur flyer it will only attack it 2 or 3 times then it will stop take it to ur base and tranq it with bow and tranq arrows that’s really all u need and then give it prime meat or normal meat and boom u should have a saber but u do need a saddle to ride it. P.S I recommend building a trap before u go out to find one I learned that the hard way😂
