So taming a sabertooth is really easy like easer than taming a raptor so u can fine them on hill or mountains in the redwoods I recommend having a flying creature like a argie or somthing that can pick up a saber they spawn in packs so be careful anyways pick up the saber that u want with ur flyer it will only attack it 2 or 3 times then it will stop take it to ur base and tranq it with bow and tranq arrows that’s really all u need and then give it prime meat or normal meat and boom u should have a saber but u do need a saddle to ride it. P.S I recommend building a trap before u go out to find one I learned that the hard way😂

To those saying these are useless... They have some insane friggen fall damage.. Like better than beelzebufo- can jump off a Mountain and not even flinch!

Great at harvesting chitin, terrible in caves. Worse than raptors for getting "lost" imo

Taming hack: put a whip in your last slot (it doubles as a piece of string) and use proximity chat to “pspsps” the saber tooth over to you. The cat might look like it’s going to try and rip your head off, but if you stand your ground and equip the whip, it’ll roll on its back and play with you. I haven’t actually tried this, but I’m certain it’ll work.

I have a level 96 bred sabertooth with over 12k HP and 800% melee. Ain’t scared of nothing. And with an Otter shoulder friend you’ll never worry about hot or cold caves or any critter in them. Great duo.

How to get very good first tame saber

Step 1 play ragnorok and spawn at Viking bay 1

Step 2 try get some levels very fast and unlock bola and tranq darts craft around 30 tranq darts and 3 bolas than find a small pack of sabers kill the bad ones and tame best one

What you need to tame a sabertooth :

1 crossbow / bow

20 tranq arrows

1 bola

How to tame the sabertooth :

Step 1 :

Find a sabertooth, they are usely foundation in the mountainbike

Step 2 :

Bola it (it May be in a pack so be careful)

Step 3 : Tranq it with your Crossbow / Bow

Step 4 : put Meat in its invetory

+ High level saber tooth can be useful in certain caves

When I was taming my sabertooth on mobile. I went to dead island, lured a sabertooth to the small island beneath the main dead island (sitting on a pelargonis), jumped down to the ground and started shooting it with my crossbow and tranq arrows. When it was down I placed wooden spiked walls around me, my pelargonis and the sabertooth. Then I just putted like 100 raw meat (I always have too much meat just in case) in it and fed it narcotic when needed. When it was tamed I got it into my raft and sailed home. Really safe taming.

Get a good saddle and its better than a dire wolf especially for caving.

Better than a raptor and terror bird and better than a wolf with a good saddle and no pack. Tougher than they look don't listen to the comment saying they aren't a worthy tame. Play scorched earth and you'll see how good it is as an early tame.

It is much easier to pick it up with a argen and put it in a taming pin and then knock it out

If you trap with more than one bear trap don't forget to pick it up or you'll end up getting caught,letting it go, and it eats you.............

Just use a bola and beat the frock out of them until they sleep give them raw meat or fish meat or cooked fish meat or cooked meat

Be careful when using a crossbow and tranqs, make sure to space out your shots by 5 seconds- their health goes down quickly. I absolutely love them as a mount they are fast with high stamina. Happy hunting!

Ah yes i found the male brownish black sabertooth i knock him out with Terry goodman the pulmonoscorpius so i feed some raw meat and soothing balm and boom i name him cody freeman but he is luffy 's friend but enemy

If it’s low lvl don’t use narcotics or anything it’s torpor goes down really slow

I killed one solo at lvl 12. Using a spear and water. Standing next to a body of water, I let it follow me out for a swim, while swimming after me i stabbed it with a spear until it died. I harvested it’s meat underwater.. did no damage to me while it was swimming. I’ve dealt with dilos and raptors in the same way. Make sure there’s nothing in the water that could eat you before trying this method.

Be cautious in water, my 190 died to a bloody jellyfish. Also if you tame it in the mosh pit, and you don’t live there, pick it up with an argy or cryopod it.
