Bola then trank arrow easyest way
1st step u should get on a high place or a pteradon, rock etc and then u start shooting off of the pterodon, rock etc and then u wait 3 sec every time u hit a tranq arrow and then it gets knocked out then I tamed a level 250 guy I gave it 60 prime meat that's what u guys need to know
I cant knocked out one without killing it for some reason , i use a crossbow and tranq arrows but for some reason i always kill it. They're not low levels well , i killed by accident a 106 and a 115. Please help
found on dead island (artifact of the devourer)
I'm a noob and successfully tamed one earlier. I saw it, got above a few rocks and started shooting it. When it got close I used a bola on it and kept shooting tranq arrows at it. It worked rather well. Though you have to be mindful they are quick and can jump. And it usually takes a couple of bolas depending on rhe sabers level. They've definitley helped me with hide, chitin and other resource gathering. Pretty good mount. I want more lol
A pteranodon at a height level can easily kill one if you help it
Can also use argy trap to trap it
There is an island northeast near the northeast corner if you can manage to get to it there are a lot of savers and argues there but also raptor and pulmoscorpions bring a bola and weapon
Basically low level ones (30-) bola it and hit as many times as you can then repeat .
They have prob the ugliest colors. I mean, red mane and dark green fur? Dafuq...
Epic
The best way I have found to tame a saber is to throw a bola at it and tame it there, they typically spawn by creatures like carnos and Argens which provide you prime meat. You can't tame it where you want with this method and you have to protect it and for higher levels it may take more than one bola but it works for me
Pick Saber up by its back with Argent. Keep your nose pointed down and it won't bite/claw you to death. Drop in a stone pin. Have ladders going up the side to a ceiling looking over pin. Proceed to traq it out and boom! You have an easy tame (currently taming a 150)
