Underrated for caving. These guys are fricking fast and they got pretty nice stamina. They are the best for caving, if you don't believe me, try for yourself.

These are normally in a pack of two or more but can be found alone as well, TO TAME: Use a BOLA (point at the back legs just above ankles) to catch, once caught then punch it until it drops unconscious

Open inventory - put raw meat in, 6 or more

Wait for the tame to complete and there you go you have a saber

When I try to tranq sabertooths out they always die. Don’t use a crossbow to tame them use a longneck rifle

If u think about taming one of these is great choise u can find a hell bunch of them on any mountain and if u got scorpion with u congrains u will have unless 25 saber tooths in 1h (ATTENTION: dont make saddles for them and ... WARNING: dont think u can take out some stronger dinos (like allosaurus gang or lvl 70+ rex this is from personal exp good luck))

If you need one of this in the island map you just need to go using any mount you like in the east part of snow you will find a seperate island and i called it battle field

Accidentally press the dismount button

Me : quick thinking and ran down the hill

Me : gets bitten by a computer to injured state

Me : quickly whistles my PTERADON to follow and I got on my PTERADON

Sabertooth : you got lucky this time

Me : died countless times by a sabertooth 😅😅

I just found 1, killed all the other sabertooths in the area and shot it in the face with a crosbow.

This was only lev 11 but still.

Sabers are graet hide gatherers for starting out

Get you some X sabers if you play on genesis. You'll get better sabers for caves. Trust me

These things are basically everywhere on scorched earth. If you’re looking for one just go grab a flyer and look around, you will find one. They usually spawn from level 45 to 60.

Just bola, tranq, and STARVE!!! I it will take you forever if you don’t.

So I was running around in the desert on the crystal map looking for jerboas to tame when I came across a saber. Since it's literally a giant cat I tried knocking it, i rode my wyvern and lured it away while shooting it with tranq darts. Took like 20 minutes for me to knock cause of bad aim and lag T^T overall good tame. Tames quick and isnt that strong against high level dinos. (Depending on the level of the saber)

Where would you find these in island

Low health and high torpor. Not the best ratio, and they suffer from headshots. I recommend one headshot at the start and the rest aiming for the tail/back. Traps are highly effective and easy, I wouldn’t try the bola-and-tranq method, you’ll just end up with a dead kitty—or you’ll be dead.
