You need to be 85(player level) and higher to start taiming it and you can tame higher levels as you level up upto 96 to tame the max level for your difficulty. You can not bread two different suffixed royal griffin. It will show the pink love simble on the griffin if you can bread them together. And the baby needs to be close it's mother to be able to eat or else it will show that it's insecure. Maybe grandma would also work but I'm not sure. Tell me if im wrong I'll try fixing it.

Griffin is great and super worth it! Just be patient, only weird thing is it can only pick up tiny creatures....

The griffin is a good traveling creature due to it's high speed once you'd I've and go back up. It has cool attack For hunting such as the dive bomb. They can also pick of people and small creatures but you wont be able to dive at high speeds.

Do not hatch any of these eggs unless you are prepared. It will take a week to mature and cannot leave the mother for this period of time

To the person who said if you have god console to put at 400% time speed to tame faster DO NOT DO THIS, No matter how high the torpor is, it will wake up before you can change the time back, this happened to 3 of mine and they had over 8000 torpor!

If you plan on minimizing stamina usage, just hold something like a spyglass so it wont dive(diving consumes stamina like a ptera doing barrel rolls) when you look down.

If you are planning on breeding these guys be prepared because without god console it would take forever to get a single baby, it best if you have one male and mutliple females to get more chances of mutation, also be prepared to stare at a golden egg for more than an hour(unless you have a pheremone)

Though they're not as useful as an argentavis, they are the most fun to fly around with, like a very good upgrade from a pteranodon when it comes to going to point B to point B

If the royal griffin doesn’t respect you when you want to tamed it is because you have to change your name with the initials of the griffin or just call yourself the same name of the griffin and then it will respect you , hope this tip will helped you guys I struggled myself to know this so I want to share this with you

Breeding them for kibble to get high level griffins are a pain because they take 11-10 hours and 9-8 hours with carnivore pheromones :/

This isn’t a tip but… does anyone know how long it would take if I used 5 of my soothing Balms from cave runs to tame a griffin with prime? I’m found a lvl 12, not sure about it though (I’m on single player mobile)
