You are going to want to have like 3 traps and use tranq darts in a longneck riffle but use raw prime meat it’s easy to find and put your taming speed up so it is faster also once its tamed you can just feed it raw meat so just kill a diplo and use god more to do it cause the cheat is just : gcm unless you are on a server then it’s : cheat gcm good luck

Where do you find these on the island map?

Must be level 85 to gain respect of low level griffins. Have same surname to gain respect of all level griffins with that same surname with you. Or for primal pass survives can purchase crown with amber.

Easily can get amber from supply crates or tributing artifacts especially from the snow and swamp caves. Hunter center and lava caves artifacts tributes can give 10x soothing balms.

Griffin kibble Best but cannot get it from chef station so therefore get allo kibble.

On single player have a buttload narcotics or bio toxin. Build a trap and trap a griffin. Place bed down and go to sleep to starve it out and help speed up taming process with the any soothing balm. Knock out (best to use longneck with tranqs or bio shock darts due to their Hp is crappy and can easily kill them while knocking out).

Can tame low level mating pair with same surname to start the griffin kibble farming to tame higher level ones and unicorns (but will need amber to buy snake seeds, can always plant them to get a seed back and this will help you get passive potent dust and rare flowers) or if you have Tek kibble processor and element, go kill griffins and get their implants before harvesting body and any kibble to convert to griffin kibble (theri kibble best quality to use) and make enough to tame more griffins or unicorns.

Once tamed griffins usually have crappy Stam. Wild lvl 450 tamed Lvl 600 griffin usually has min 1k stamina (hopefully this help for breeders).

Use shocking tranq darts and 999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999 raw fish meat. Do this if you want your girlfriend break up with you. 👍🏼

Can they lay eggs in wild or lay them at all

They did not use the same coding for griffin as console or PC. They wanted it to be something rewarding. The griffin on mobile uses super griffin kible which hands down the only way to get is insane. You need to breed 2 griffins that end with the same syllables. Then use fertilized egg for kibble.

SO HARD TO TAME THEY TAKE AN HOUR ANT NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT unless you have a soothing balm just it’s not worth it

If your taking make a stone Dino gate trap because even with toxicant arrows the griffin will attempt to run away and their fast

If ur looking for one there at the mountain at north zone be carefull tho they sometimes swarm you and kill everything that are not bronto or rex or spino or titan or giga or allo don’t forget to have it’s sir same or be lvl 85 or 95 also make a trap! If ur low level player!!!

Sounds dumb but without kibble, knock out a Griffen, then get a bunch of pt’s. Breed them until u at least get 6-10 eggs(for max level), then make air conditioners, hatch the eggs at the griffen when it’s hungry. Kill the pt’s and for some reason, they give a bunch of prime. Enjoy your Griffen. :)

I suggest not making it choke on meat and Bio toxin my phone is quicker to charge than taming it with meat and Bio toxin I tested it it is a pain in the u know what

Easiest way ever to tame Griffin's or many other creatures place 5 dinosaur gateway at any obelisk like this ||||| and place gateways on both side and then kill any creature you want to tame and then revive it here it will be revived in the trap and you can easily tame it

Taming these guys are Easy peasy. Follow these steps:Do the South Cave to Farm a Southing Balm when you tribute the artifact. Next find a Griffin that respects you, here are most ways to gain Respect:Wear a Crown, Have the same last Surname example:Griffin:Pervilon Your Name:Morloan =Respect, be level 85 - 95 to gain Respect. Lastly,(To Continue the Taming Steps) make Allo kibble then tranq out the Griffin. Then Done.

THE NAME CHANGING TICKET DOESNT WORK

There are Two different way, how you can Tame a Griffin ? i'm not gonna share something , i just know . i'm gonna share my experience about Taming a griffin

#About Two way...

1. You have to get lvl-85 for lower lvl griffin (they gonna start respecting u from here) then get lvl-up for higher lvl griffin .

2. Change Your sur-name and add last 3 words from the griffin name's , which one you wanna Tame . [ N:B: Tips-2 dosen't work for some griffin (like ace'i , lendran'i) because you can't change your name like this . ]

i'm new so i just Tame Two of them... lvl-15 then lvl-55

with soothing balm (15x) lvl-15 griffin Taming scale up 18.4% per Kibble [ 100% ÷ 18.4% = 5.4 or 6 kibble needed ] and taming effectiveness decrease (0.3%) per kibble. it's take 30 minite to Tame.

with soothing balm (15x) lvl-55 griffin Taming scale up 14.3% per Kibble [ 100% ÷ 14.3℅ = 6.9 or 7 kibble needed ] and taming effectiveness decrease (0.3%) per kibble as before. it's take 42 minite to Tame.

Tamed a lvl 2 griffin with 15x and 4 allo kibble so if you wanna take a low level get 4+ allo kibble and a 15x and you got yourself a griffin!
