To knock it out make gates like this metal it should be or stone gates should be like this |||| or there are other types of trap like making with found and put a gate one then put ceiling it is good I recommend but making the first trap get bug sometimes the griffin could get out of it.

And use TOXICANT ARROWS! Don't use tranq also use compound bow while using toxicant arrow then after knocking it out use allo kibble highly recommended because if u use a prime meat it will only work get like 1.5% using allo kibble with soothie makes it 5% using allo kibble is good like 20 allo kibble with soothing let it starve and give it there u go tamed a griffin.

You need to be level 95 for all griffins to respect you some are not still respecting you if you only have 85 level that's the first to gain their respect now second is have the same suffix and their last letters like lunnima you neee to have ma on your last letter name

Another to gain their respect is to wear a gold crown that is available at amber store and if you want to tame it already make a trap by placing 4 straight stone dinosaur gate frame and give them a small gap between each other and place 2 reinforced dinosaur gate on each side (not all gate frame) and you want to lead it to the trap and having it's dinosaur gate open,lead it inside and there you go. Warning! Do not use crossbow with Toxicant arrow it will die try using longneck riffle with tranq dart instead

Taming a 150 will take 22 hours with griffin kibble and there terpor is like what half a hour

I would tame with prime meat and soothing balm 10x because im to lazy to make kibble

Look guys if you guys kill the griffin and get it's implant and revive the griffin at obi and sleep and next knock it out and its food will be totaly drain but the cost for this is the amber to revive

I started taming one...half an hour ago? I'm still taming it rn. I used a 3 soothing balm and prime meat. It's taking forever and its ONLY LEVEL 2!! Like plz

This dude can eat regular raw meat now it adds 0.2 taming progress without any soothing balm

Having trouble taming a griffin? Here's your secret weapon... GOD CONSOLE! It helps alot. When you're looking for a griffin that respects you but you don't want your mount to be killed? Turn on immortality and you can look in peace! 🙂 Don't have enough stone for a trap? God console will give you free resources! Need bio toxin? God console will give you 200! Do you want a high lvl griffin but don't want to get so much food? Tame a lvl 1 that respects you and once it's tamed lvl it up! And for the balm... Just buy it in the shop or: Tribute artifacts, do hunt megapiranha, or get it from a free gift! And for the allo kibble you can buy a chef station and get the stuff, or tame a femake allo! How do you breed the griffin. I have heard you need the same first letter in the name to breed them?

Place a bed near the artifact container in South cave,place another bed on green obelisk. Now give all your items to your tamed creature then take your flier to the green obelisk then fast travel to south cave,grab the artifact then die. Now spawn on green obelisk and tribute the artifact after that,take your flier to your Base and do the same thing again and again until you get 10 or more soothing balm now KO the griffin,use those 10 soothing balms on that griffin and feed it kibble/meat now enjoy your new griffin. NOTE (In South cave after taking the artifact only die if your difficulty is on casual if not then try to get out of that cave and go to green obelisk tribute the artifact and repeat)

They don’t even come with good stats after taming wth is this :/ big waste ngl

Make sure to check all game stats before trying to tame one. I made that mistake and it sent me rushing back and forth the whole taming session, luckily I got my griffin and have decided it’s well worth it.

step 1:get allosaurus/griffin kibble (10 atleast)

step 2:get a soothing balm (try hunter cave)

step 3:get some prime meat just in case

step 4:find a low level griffin (below 60)

step 5:start with kibble when kibbles are done use prime meat.

step 6:use bio toxin so it would not wake up

step 7: you just tamed your very own griffin!

These guys can be only bred and show the heart icon with the same surname!

How to tame a griffin:

Step 1: get about 200 amber

Step 2:find a high level

Step 3: trap it and change your last letters to the same as the griffin you want to tame (name change ticket)

Step 4:sleep (so it eats faster)

Step 5:give it a soothing balm and buy a chef station and buy as many allo kibble as you can

Step 6:Enjoy your new Griffin!

it’s not really a tip but how long does it take for the griffin that trusts you to respawn???

THE easiest way to tame a max lvl griffin if your playing in a public server

Step 1: get 1 male and female griffin with same surname

Step 2: breed them and get the fertilised egg

Step 3: make super griffin kibble

Note :Recipe for super griffin kibble is written in the dododex which your are using right now

Step 4: get a 10x smoothing balm

Step 5 : put the kibble and boom 💥 you got a max lvl griffin

This is Time consuming but worth it

If you want a griffin easily, just save up some amber ( 45 ) and purchase the ‘major soothing balm’, nock out a griffin low level or high level using traps or no traps and use the soothing balm, then place RAW PRIME MEAT. Or if you don’t have any you can still feed them with RAW MEAT.
