Basically you should just get a high lvl argy let it tank it and shoot the griff because it’s way too hard to get it in the trap. I’m not saying that is the way you should do it but it’s the easiest way

Guys to tame a griffin fast you must trap it and then sleep, and it will hungry then later knock it out and you will see that it's eating the food fast!

a 170 griffin with a 15 times balm only needs i think 10-12 allo kibble, it doesn’t need 37.

I tamed a 140 by borrowing kibbles from chef station and a 15x soothing balm make trap from dino gates

Why can't these just be identical to regular griffins in ark: computer? I mean these take way longer to tame, they have the stupid respect system, and more! I just want a stupid griffin!

I used to tame a lvl 180 griffin with my friend, but he knocked down that griffin, (it must be me). Then we try to make it conscious so i can knock it. We use a lot of steam berry, i didn't realize that steam berry will make it hungry. After the griffin was knocked, immediately eat my 3 kibbles. Less than 5 minutes 😂

Fun fact you can tame this with raw meat its 0.3 at 10x balm for like lvl 50 and yes i tested it

SERIOUS TIP TO GET HIGH LEVEL GRIFFIN… Unclaim your highest lvl griffin inside a cage, then proceed to knock out and tame again. It’s a pretty sketchy business and sometimes they die, but if it works and you properly knocked out and retamed a lvl 220 you could get their lvl up to 320, but it only works one time you can’t retame them multiple times they’ll just die.

How do you get a griffin to respect you

I was trying to tame a lvl 14 griffin however I didn’t have any kibbles and I only used raw prime meat. DO NOT DO WHAT I DID I USED 10x SOOTHING BALM AND IT GOES UP BY 0.8

It is best to get the god console and have all taking things and a lot of jellyfish things level it up but first use the jellyfish torpor things and then you add a smoothing balm the smoothing balm is optional by the way then you put the meet or whatever you need to take it spam the jellyfish things then add the levels and keep adding but stop once it gets to like level 25 then spam jellyfish thing and after that you should repeat and bam you have yourself a royal griffin

If you want an Griffin it's simple just lure it to the trap and trap him and just go to bed in ark and after sleeping just knock the Griffin after knockin just go to his stats there will be 0 food so be quick and feed him soothing balm and kibble trust me I have tamed 10 Griffin in just one day

You can tame up these mostly raid used tames as the following ways:

Lvl40: You need to buy a name change ticket and chante your surname same as you choosen Griffin. (F.e. Griffin: ThégaRIC, Your: PlayeRIC)

Lvl60: Buy the Gold Crown (Primal Pass required) and so you can tame up any.

Lvl85: This is the first level number, when you can tame up several Griffin, but not the high level ones.

Lvl90: You can tame up any Griffin you want.

Tips and tactics: Use the classical Griffin trap and use Darts, bring Bio-Toxin which is cheap and useful, use Allosaurus kibble and 10-15x Balm or else it will take hours.
