So... I am lvl 87 and thought it would be nice to have a Griffin so I found a lvl 60 and it respected me but a lvl 110 wouldn’t? My understanding now is that to earn the respect of the higher lvl Griffin’s you have to be a certain lvl over lvl 85? For example... you have to be lvl 100 to tame a maxed lvl Griffin and earn respect?

Note:this is the only creature that needs its own kibble to tame faster so what u want to do is tame a low level get its eggs than make its kibble or just buy it from chef station to tame a high level

It takes 36 allows kibble for level 135 using soothing balm

You can tame this creature easily by sleeping near at it. Look at his food until you knock them.

And tamed.

If you lvl40 change your surname to the Griffin's you will get its respect

So guys to get Very high level Griffin You need MANY GRIFFIN KIBBLE i recommend to use Tek kibble processor i have the if you want to get the Griffin

Step 1:Tame the biggest Griffin level u can find with Griffin kibble + smoothing balm 15x

Step 2:level up the Griffin or use potent dust i know it hard to get amber but it really worth it cause it give 60 level

Step 3:unclaim it in A trap and tame it again because if you unclaim A Griffin it will be A wild

Step 4:Tame it again

Step 5:do step 2,3 and 4

Step 6:repeat Step 6 until ur potent dust or Griffin kibble run out

And thats the way to get the best Griffin ever But i prefer eerie 100% imprint :V

Griffins are very hard to tame but if u get low breeding pair make kibble to tame higher lvls, to breed the sername has to match and if you unclaim them they go Wild so don’t do that. Hope this helps!

Be level 85+ to tame otherwise it will not respect you so you can’t ride it

Me and my tribemate stayed up from 1am till 6am taming one of those, even though we used a 15x soothing balm. The devs really need to make its taming easier and faster. We didn’t get any sleep!

If you tame a 400+ without a balm on a official server, your a savage 100%

You can term alow level and make Griffin kibble and term a high level Griffin

Use 15×smoothing for high level Griffin

Huge tip if you want to skip the waiting time. Before knocking out said Griffin (this works on any creature in the game) have it trapped so that it is in render distance and you have to sleep. Preferably 7 hours with the simple bed. Once u wake up knock out the creature or in our case the Griffin and it should have its food stat at 0. When u feed it it will instantly eat so you don't have to wait hours to tame it or waste narcotics. Yes this is true I used it all the time in game.

How much food is given to the Griffin depending on what u feed:

Kibble: 80 food

Any meats: 50 food

Remember, check ur level before going out to tame one because I wasted my time setting up to tame one and then remembered, thank god I noticed (you gotta be level 85 or higher, I was level 76)

Mobile you need to be level 85 to tame one, use allo kibble or prime meat always use a taming boost 10x or 15x

If you want to tame a griffin, first, tame a level 1-4 female and male with the same last name, and allo kibble (low levels don't take much allo kibble) and breed those griffins to get the egg, and then make the griffin egg into kibble to feed the other high and max level griffins or unicorn (yes griffins are cannibals, but no one really cares). And one last thing, you need the same last name and be level 40 to tame the griffins.

Starve tame then use Allo kibble then if you come across of shortage go for prime meat and I suggest that you don't use a x10 and grind some Amber's from artifacts then buy the x15 one really helps tamed a 200+ if I remembered correctly

You dont need griffin if you really want him prepare for hell

I thought they where kidding when they said that griffins would not breed unless they have the same surname. I went out and tamed a female griffins to get griffin babies and turns out that my male griffin was not compatible. I wanted to trade the female griffin to my friend but i remembered that unclaiming a griffin will turn it wild. Anyways I now have two griffins that I can’t do anything with

If you want to trap a griffin use stone gates.found out the hard way.

This dude is a must tame even tho it’s kinda hard but they’re so fun to glide around the map with :P
