that 435 griffin despawned and i found a 450 zar griffin that respected me guess what it also despawned pain real pain but luckily i tamed a 210 griffin and called saczar now i’m planning to tame a 285 griffin i just hope hope it doesn’t despawned i’ve played ark mobile for a year now and i’ve never seen something quite broken as this.

One spawned next to my base it was a very high level. I’m only level 24 so I was terrified. I ran to my base and crouched under my spike wall and the Royal Griffin got killed from it. Very happy I survived :D

Found a total of 4 on Fars Peak. Mad insane

You can ONLY find them in Far’s Peak, the northeast side of the map.

In Mobile they spawn at fars peak or the mountain closest to deadly island

If they respect you they don’t aggro you, only your dino. Unless you hurt it ofc. If they don’t respect you RUN AND NEVER LOOK BACK. np! :^

1: tons of narcotics/ bio toxin to keep it asleep

2:bring soothing balm and allow kibble

Be wary. With the new update on mobile they’ve become complete nutjobs. I wouldn’t have come close to them if it wasn’t for the stupid ass daily pursuit to share a friggin photo of a griffin. And they almost can’t fit even inside dino gates anymore. And they keep spinning around the player, even with a shield, can damage the player by slapping their arse. Be careful y’all.

Very easy to find you just need to be in the right place. For example there is a mountain next to carno Island they spawn there along with allos. Beutiful creatures I have found 5 in a row on that mountain

these guys will follow you… luckily my argy Rodan was able to take him.

Do not run up to them if you don't know if they respect you other wise if they don't go hide between some rocks or die.

Useless pieces of poop don’t even drop prime!! Why they royal more like royal pain in my mountain climbing ass!!!!!!

If you want a high level griffin. Save about 60 ancient amber. You can farm these from loot drops (from the sky) look for a guide for better info.

Gather 2, 10x soothing balm. Get these from either trophy hunts or from the hourly gifting (right upper corner)

Tame low level breeding pairs. Male and female with same last names. Make eggs for kibble. There is a 16hour mating timer on the fastest speed setting. Ask your admin

Use 15 of you ancient amber to buy 2x snake grass seeds then plant them if you want (you’ll get the seeds back anyway from my experience)

Buy major soothing balm from the remaining ancient amber you have.

Then look for any high level griffin you want to tame. You can have a similar last name with the first 2 that you used for breeding, to make more cute little griffies.

(this method is time consuming, but you can just play the game you dont need to have this unless you’ve build a pretty good base and tames)

If anyone wants to know how to get respect is the easiest one yet find your Griffin and make your Sur name the same as it's like my Griffin is versegast So I changed my name to ever Gast and it got my respect it's super nice and fast ✨✨✨

Was flying up really high to look for loot drops and found two! Just in the sky????

THESE ARE FOUND ON MOBILE!

They are on the mountain before the snow if you go straight up from the bottom right of the map, they also fly about other high mountains in mobile and they have a very large Agro range so if your argy/flyer can’t take one on then try to stay low in the skies around mountains and go around if you can.

Most unofficial mobile servers have a pre-made griffin trap on the mountain they’re found in but if not it’s a pretty simple trap that uses 4-5 behemoth gateways with 2 gates at either end. Keep one end shut and lead the Griffin into the trap and then quickly run round the back to shut the other gate. Try to Knock out a low level female at first using arrows/darts, feed with allo kibble (takes a while use balm as well) and then use it to make griffin kibble to tame higher levels. Haven't tamed one yet but if you are starting do not go to the top left mountain. I did and was scared half to death by one of these things and immediately noped right out of there. Also if you intend to tame it do not go near until you are ready to tame it I had to kill one that was attacking my bird because it was out of stam.

They spawn on north east mountain in mobile not sure about PC and console.

If your low level or you don't have a name that has the 3 last letters related with the griffin's last 3 words in its own name, then run and never go back. They will only be passive if your lvl 75-85 or if you have a crown skin or if you have the same last letters that the Griffin has in its name....
