Level stamina until it outclasses your best flier

They are on the mountain before the snow if you go straight up from the bottom right of the map, they also fly about other high mountains in mobile and they have a very large Agro range so if your argy/flyer can’t take one on then try to stay low in the skies around mountains and go around if you can.

Most unofficial mobile servers have a pre-made griffin trap on the mountain they’re found in but if not it’s a pretty simple trap that uses 4-5 behemoth gateways with 2 gates at either end. Keep one end shut and lead the Griffin into the trap and then quickly run round the back to shut the other gate. Try to Knock out a low level female at first using arrows/darts, feed with allo kibble (takes a while use balm as well) and then use it to make griffin kibble to tame higher levels. You can tame this creature easily by sleeping near at it. Look at his food until you knock them.

Anyone else think you have to be the griffin’s level or higher to take it 85 is kind of a grind

When taming a royal griffin trap it first by using 3-5 dinosaur gate on a flat surface then you can tranquilizes it,I remend using a 10x smooth balm and also remend using allo kibble for your first two Griffin and breed the two Griffin to get a Griffin egg, then use the Griffin egg to make the Griffin kibble,then use the Griffin kibble to tame a higher level Griffin

Here how to make allo:

1 allow egg

1 savoroot

1 cooked prime meat

2 mejoberry

3 fiber

1 fill water jar

Here how to make Griffin kibble:

1 Griffin egg

1 cook prime meat

10 fiber

1 savoroot

1 longrass

1 citronal

1 snake plant seed

1 fill water jar

Griffins are very hard to tame but if u get low breeding pair make kibble to tame higher lvls, to breed the sername has to match and if you unclaim them they go Wild so don’t do that. Hope this helps!

Be level 85+ to tame otherwise it will not respect you so you can’t ride it

For you curious peeps who are wondering why they can't hold many creatures: 1. They hold the creatures in their front claws, so there isn't much room for bigger creatures. 2. If they could carry big creatures, the Argy would have no advantages!

Me and my tribemate stayed up from 1am till 6am taming one of those, even though we used a 15x soothing balm. The devs really need to make its taming easier and faster. We didn’t get any sleep!

If you tame a 400+ without a balm on a official server, your a savage 100%

So guys to get Very high level Griffin You need MANY GRIFFIN KIBBLE i recommend to use Tek kibble processor i have the if you want to get the Griffin

Step 1:Tame the biggest Griffin level u can find with Griffin kibble + smoothing balm 15x

Step 2:level up the Griffin or use potent dust i know it hard to get amber but it really worth it cause it give 60 level

Step 3:unclaim it in A trap and tame it again because if you unclaim A Griffin it will be A wild

Step 4:Tame it again

Step 5:do step 2,3 and 4

Step 6:repeat Step 6 until ur potent dust or Griffin kibble run out

And thats the way to get the best Griffin ever But i prefer eerie 100% imprint :V

You can term alow level and make Griffin kibble and term a high level Griffin

Use 15×smoothing for high level Griffin

Remember, check ur level before going out to tame one because I wasted my time setting up to tame one and then remembered, thank god I noticed (you gotta be level 85 or higher, I was level 76)

I’ve seen one thinking it was a argentavis, boy was I wrong

Mobile you need to be level 85 to tame one, use allo kibble or prime meat always use a taming boost 10x or 15x

They spawn on north east mountain in mobile not sure about PC and console.

If you want to tame a griffin, first, tame a level 1-4 female and male with the same last name, and allo kibble (low levels don't take much allo kibble) and breed those griffins to get the egg, and then make the griffin egg into kibble to feed the other high and max level griffins or unicorn (yes griffins are cannibals, but no one really cares). And one last thing, you need the same last name and be level 40 to tame the griffins.

Starve tame then use Allo kibble then if you come across of shortage go for prime meat and I suggest that you don't use a x10 and grind some Amber's from artifacts then buy the x15 one really helps tamed a 200+ if I remembered correctly
