Remember that a griffin does not respect you, you can’t ride them even their tame

If they respect you they don’t aggro you, only your dino. Unless you hurt it ofc. If they don’t respect you RUN AND NEVER LOOK BACK. np! :^

A griffin’s tamed stamina stat is TERRIBLE, so is it’s tamed health stat, and it’s tamed melee, BUT, speaking from experience, their tamed weight stat is AMAZING. Without lvling it’s weight, my highest lvl griffin (wild lvl 120, tamed out at around 150) came out with a weight stat of 504. This makes them a great tame to fly around and collect small amount of the heavier materials like obsidian and metal. With a few levels in stamina, Griffins can be great tames for a quick run to the volcano or the redwoods on the island for supplies like Metal, Obsidian and cementing paste. 😁😄😁

The ultimate Gide to taming and breeding Royal Griffins! (or RGs for short) fist off they are only in the old mobile version which is no longer available for download sorry 😞. They are only found on Fars peak and will attack any thing that they do not respect the way to earn its respect is for you to be a level 90, have a crown 👑, or for you to have the same surname as it and be a level 50. I actually have a secret taming spot at the bottom of Fars peak there is a natural rock formation that looks like the entrance of a cave Its next to the river at the bottom of the mountain. Put a chain bola shooter in it and surround the place with bear traps and make sure the area is clear (there is a pack of allos (maybe tame them for the taming food)and some raptors) while doing this make sure to check for the gigant that spawns there if he’s there might want to do this another day. The taming food is allo kibble or RG kibble with soothing balm not tameable any other way. Go over to the RG you want to tame and shoot it with 1 natartic (bring a lot of them and a crossbow or compound bow to shoot them) then RUN to your taming trap and make sure it’s following you and shoot it with a chain bola get off the turret and start shooting it to sleep 😴 when it breaks out of the bola it should fly into the “cave”and get stuck there so you can shoot to your hearts content when it is asleep give it the soothing balm and kibble and make sure to bring a lot of jellyfish guts to keep it asleep. It should sleep about 1 or 2 ark days and boom 💥 you got yourself a RG. Breeding them is a nightmare because not only do they have to have the same last 4 letters in their name to mate but the eggs take forever to hatch and have to be just above freezing 🥶. Raising them is kinda easy though but make sure to NOT KILL THE MOTHER!!! They cannot eat without them around also it will take about 72 hours to mature so check in regularly. Quick tip when you start on mobile have your name be one of the griffin names like I do. I use (name) lot bc some of the griffins I can tame

I used the name change ticket thingy and it worked, still, despite them being quite majestic but I think you should wait till you hit lv85 and save the amber instead, currently at lv82, got a couple of Quetz, an Argie, a Tabi and a Pt, more than enough for moving around, imo the only actual advantage the griffen has is that youre able to shoot while the creature is mounted, which can be lowkey done with a Tapi, keep in mind that unless you had a soothing balm and at least 55 Allo kibble which are relatively expensive to make, this guy is pretty much a pain in the butt to tame as it takes a long time to tame, saw some decent comments about taming low lv ones in order to get griffen kibble to tame high lv ones, smart tip imo.

How to tame a level one griffin IN MULTIPLAYER

You’ll need 10x balm and allo kibble

An argy or a good flyer

A trap, stone or metal( I’m using metal because I had a lot of resources)

A least 20 trank darts, depends on how good your aim is

Be lvl 85+/95+/ have the golden crown/ have the same surname

FIND THE GRIFFIN

If u want, leave the griffin in the trap for awhile

Knock out the griffin

Tame the griffin

AND THERE U GO! U have a low lvl griffin:(

So ive officially figured out how to give griffins away, THE EASY WAY!!! Breed two griffins, wait for the baby to reach juvenile stage, then unclaimed and let your pal reclaim it right away. If you do this before the griffin reaches juvenile stage it won't take food. Please share this for everyone.

Name changing ticket is actually work but you need to find a griffin that has the same name that you have changed in example if i found i griffin named Radoell i can change my name to yonell so radoell will respect me but the others won't

How much kibble do I need to tame it? I’ve seen ppl say 3-4 but I’m unsure(Armora rex)

Hey everybody I’m one of the first few who said lvl 85^ but it is actually lvl95^ but by the time I realised it the 85^ news had spread like wild fire so for all of u confused little buddies u need to be lvl 95^ or have crown or have the same last name which it think means last three letters of griffin name-FrogR

I have to say they are pretty garbage when they are low level, cuz i could barely move without draining my stamina half way, but when these guys are high level, they outshine almost everything when it comes to combat, it hist like a truck when it has momentum and it's speed is unrivaled. Level these guys stamina first, you will really need it

On mobile they won’t respect you unless you buy a crown or are a lvl 85+ allo kibble also only does 4% taming per bite of kibble and that’s with a balm
