If you are having issues with cannon ball shots registering torpor, wait to shoot it until right after the golem finishes an attack animation. I find that you can normally get 2 cannon shots in between each golem attack animation if you are quick.

To knock out a Rock Elemental you can use a Paracer with a plattform sattle equipped. You now could place a ballista turret, a catapult turret or rocket turret on it. However the cannon is the absolute most effective cause it does the most torpor per shot. Not like the catapult with only 5. You also can use a Rocket Launcher wich is also pretty good.

This mod called immersive taming changes the game! Now instead of getting cannons and narcotics and a lot of trouble, now just fire arrows with sulfur on it then after a few arrows go up and pet it! That’s your new rock elemental.

Tameable with element. Use any teksaddle. The knockout formula is: (level×100+5000):348 = tek "bullets"

You can knock these guys out with shocking tranquilizer darts, not sure if it works for tranq arrows or tranq darts yet. It took a bunch of them to knock a level 100 out. I fed it rocks to tame it like a mad man, took 7 hours lol

Well I’ve never seen on but if I’m taking something that will take a long time I put a sleeping bag near it so you can sleep so the tame up a lot faster

Pls give me a tip I've never tamed a rock golem I just avoided them on scorched earth not I want to tame a x-ice elemental on genises and its a lot harder to knock out.😢

Use a flyer and fly about and not to far awatly, it can't throw rocks. Set up cannon and fire at the head

Just trow rocks at it and it will tame instantly, you can only trow the stones don't use a slingshot it will kill the golem after 2 hits on the face.

Make sure to trow it with your hands

When knocking out, get an allied tribe (or have a tribe member leave your tribe) to build stone pillars to block it. The elemental will aggro on you when taming it and won't destroy the pillars blocking him.

Best way is with a paracer and cannon on top. Find a mountain cliff side and place 2 high pillars in a semi circle, 8 pillars should do. Leave one side open. Agro the Elemental with a bird preferably so he doesn't throw rocks. Once he walks into the trap, sprint away from his targeting range. This will cause him to De-agro and go back into a disguise. Keep your distance when returning to it. Go to the side that you left open, with pillars in hand, and sprint in to place the 2 tall pillars as fast as possible. (Dino Gates work as well) I would recommend have a sleeping bag or bed nearby. Now comes the tricky part, find a rock or structure to hide behind that is near him, get his attention and wait for him to just stop moving and stare at you. (You need to be on foot) If he does this, back away and he will stay like that. If not, Get close to get his attention and repeat. Now simply aim and fire. 20 balls for a 120. You must hit it in the head and it must do a dramatic flinch.
