To knock these fellas out try a cannon it’s the easiest way. Build a rectangle large enough to fit a rock golem but leave a side open. Lead it through the side. When he’s in aim cannon at head and shoot! (Use sulfur for taming)

My Giga lvl 52 with 18297 health and 66% malee it had killed 2 of those monsters with 23000 health, one by one.Then i had to stay back and feed giga with tons if meat, otherwise no Giga :-o

The calculators for boulder KO (at least) are massively off. Just wasted 38 boulders on a low level!! And yes: at least 20, probably 25 of those shots were confirmed “head-shake” torpor animations. Be wary!

Try to trap it in a metal piller trap but stone will work if you can knock it out quickly, then place a cannon on a metal foundation facing its head and Fire! Make sure you plqce a gate or something to tank the rock elementals rocks that he throws:D

On scorched earth, if you go to the coords; 66.5, 32.8 there is a little passage way that the rock elementals cant get through. Put your cannon down in the small tunnel and fire away. If it tries to throw rocks they will hit the top of the passage way. It's very effective and easily knocked it out for me. Dont forget to bring sulfur though! Good luck!

For some reason when I tried to knocking it out, it just didn't go down. I shot way more shots into it than needed and then when I command tamed it to check it out it had a max health that was half of the lowest possible option

They should be tamed with rockets not rocks

Always starve tame creatures that take forever to tame it increases the speed by 3x

If your fairly built up you can grab with a skiff bring it to your base.(THIS STEP IS OPTIONAL) get a friend to grapple it with a good amount of stuff on u so it can't move and shoot it in the head with the M.S.C.M attachment on a mek. This is for late game and the mek cannon know them out fast than a cannon if you play boosted would recommend.

Took me 12 rockets to knock one down. Currently taming now.

Create a 4 behemoth gate trap and place a few canons around each gap between the gates then get the elementals in treat and shoot it but make sure the gates are close enough so the boulders can’t get through
