Use the formula y=(5000+100x)/1800 to figure out how many cannonballs are necessary to knock the golem out. Y is cannonballs. X is level. I suggest bringing at least 2 extra cannonballs.

Rock golems should have reduced weight for stone come on wildcard

This is very good for soaking bullets from turrets due to its damage resistance and can easily handle multiple heavy’s. But if they have tek turrets the turrets will ignore his damage resistance and he will likely die or be very low so do not use on tek turrets, the stego is better for those. Oh also this is completely useless but you can whip him in rock form and he will move.

If you have a level 9999 and use stone and are on 0.01 times taming it takes 80 years....

It's a bit silly that kibble tames it a lot better than rocks or sulfur because even in the dossier it says that it lives off of absorbing nearby rocks and minerals. So mabey they should make it so you have to feed them a rare mineral like obsidian what if they made it so you could tame one fast and with high effectiveness by giving one a few hundred or few thousand obsidian . or what if there kibble was made out of a combination of ores and minerals .

They should make the boulder throw able to knock out other rock elementals.

If you are unsure if a rock is a disguised golem or not, a spyglass shows their name and level even when disguised. Also, when disguised, the rocks often move slightly as you get close, re settling onto the terrain.

Rock elementals are extremely tough to kill or knockout. Over encumbering them inside or around your base and setting them to aggressive allows them to defend your base with their rock throw attack without being kited away by enemies.

DO NOT hit a rock that falls out of the sky. Thats a spawning rock elemental and it will roll you into a ball when awoken.

Direwolves can sniff them out. Up so more can see

Store your loot on one underwater in rock mode, no one will ever find it

There is a great little natural passage that you can kite the golem in to at 64.1 - 49.9. We tame all our Golem there. They can't get out but once tamed can be moved out. It offers a great firing position for your cannon.

Don't steal someone's 190 lightning wyvern egg or expect one of these at your base.

They can be found on genesis2, they just take 12 hours to find.

No. What is wrong with the devs man. They can easily get overencumbered by stone since they get a metric ton of them each rock

Rock Elemental can take a lot of hits reducing damage by 50% from all non-blunt damage. A TAMED Rock Elemental can NOT fight a wild one. It works the same as a Giga so I would advice against it.

The Rock Elemental/Golem is a tanky beast to tame, and here is a guide to it. #1. The Rock Golem is found on a few maps: Scorched Earth, Valguero, Gen 1, and Fjordur. It has armor, so it will take less damage with a lot of attacks. To tame it, you need either a cannon, or rocket launchers, and aim at the head. It will eventually knock out, and you can give it extordinary kibble. #2. It has multiple abilities. It has a standard attack that breaks through other elemental’s armor, a hand swing, and can throw rocks.(The rock throw is the strongest attack) The saddle unlocks at level 70, I think. #3. When killed, it gives you stone(Big surprise), Sulfur, Obsidian, Crystal, and Flint. There are multiple variants: Rock, Chalk, Ice, X, and Rubble. This is my guide to the Rock Elemental/Golem.
