I was walking up a mountain on scorched earth the ground shook he threw a rock at me I died only on the death screen I learned what a rock elemental is.

If you are unsure if a rock is a disguised golem or not, a spyglass shows their name and level even when disguised. Also, when disguised, the rocks often move slightly as you get close, re settling onto the terrain.

If you see a rock 🪨 fall frome the sky it was a golem spawning so be carefull ! Hope this was help full
