As of the 10/27 update, RockDrake breeding is vanilla setting for console players.

Me and my group of three friends will be attempting to steal three eggs from these fellows using 6 spinos ( 4 are fully imprinted) 3 hazard suits a riot shield each and 10 climbing picks. And obviously wing suits

The best route to their nests is by dropping down a huge ciff located at the blue zone (very close to the green zone) that leads you straight into the element chamber. After that you just gotta follow the path to your left. Im pretty confident that if you do this strat you cant run into any reapers, at least I never encountered one.

I used a very effective method but it sounds like a joke, but it works fine: use a gasbag, 20-30 vegatible cakes for gasbag healing and like 10-15 stacks berries for gasbag food and at least 2 hazard suits. You can easily fly down to the spots where the nests are, then fly to the nests, steal the eggs, fly to the entrance of the complex and repeat it. Important: if you want to play safe, then only take the nests on the highest spots, because if you go for the lower spots, it can happen, that an army of drakes stuck you into a nest and your gasbag and you will die. If the cakes are empty, you have to go back to the "non radiation zone", cause after a time without healing the radiation is too much dmg for the gasbag. But this method only works fine, if you a) can control the gasbag and b) the gasbag should have at least 6-10k hp, 2-2,5k stamina and over 100k oxygen. And don't forget to regain stamina and gas every time.

I took 2 hazmat suits 2 gliders 2 zip line motors 20 zip line and almost didn't make it out. Grab red Crystal when you're down their you'll need 100 for the saddle

DFL’S GUIDE TO ABBERATION CREATURES PART 1: The Rock Drake

Temperament: Aggressive

Location: the Rock Drake can be found wandering the map, mostly around the blue zone and the red zone, they rarely make their way up to the green zone

How to Tame: you can’t tame a Drake like you tame any other creature, you need to steal the Drake eggs from the nests, much like a wyvern. Make your way to the Drake trench, the deepest part of Abberation, there is where the eggs will be. After finding the eggs equip climbing picks, and climb down to the nest, this is the most dangerous part. If a deal doesn’t spot you, the will when you grab the egg. After you grab it, run back to the spino or karkinos you came down on, and start killing the drakes that are chasing you, and then run, if you can’t get away fast enough then you will probably die. Drakes are fast and deadly and will kill you quite fast in large groups.

Raising: After successfully escaping from the trench, just hope you built twenty air cons before hand. I had an otter and leveled it up by killing baby spinos, and that helped so I only built twelve. While the egg is incubating go out and leave your light pet at home, grab some nameless venom from the nameless, that is what your Drake eats. Make sure you imprint it, and now you have your very own Rock Drake!

Just spawn a couple in in the aberration zone on crystal isles and the eggs will appear in the nests. Bring it up with a deodon so you don’t need nameless venom. This also mean you can tame a basilisk

Just in case you see this on Extinction and think you can tame one on that map, you can't. They'll always spawn corrupted. Corrupted dinos can't be tamed. Just in case

To raid the nest on fjordur I recommend using a pack of aberrant megalosaurus and a desmodus. They all are immune to radiation so you won’t need mushroom brew. Ride the desmodus while wearing radiation armor. Sic the megs on the drakes till there are none left. You could also use aberrant spino, found in aberration cave like megalosaurus.

My overall favorite creature. Can glide go invisible and has a tek saddle. What else do I need to hear?

Take 6 air con units, one generator and fuel to the top of the snow area and that will work. Take a cryo pod and fridge to transport it back.

You can easily dash into the cave with a managarmr on fjordur and snatch an egg in a flash

You can use dimetrodons to help hatch so you don’t have to use as much ac units.

Use the andrewsarchus to get the egg the (turret) saddle protects you from any radiation so you dont need a hazard suit!!!

For 20% incubation boost the exact ideal temp is -85°C.

They’re like wyverns in many ways, one of which being that most nothing will attack them whilst riding unless provoked. (With the exception of Nameless and Reapers, because they’re bastards). However, something important to note is that if you have a second passenger (since the saddle is a two seater) anything aggressive that wouldn’t agro on you before — now will. Not sure if this is a bug or what, but the passenger can also get hurt, so be careful.
