For whoever might not know you can't use weapons on the back of rock drakes anymore on pvp so if you were planning on using it for the Rockwell fight, better start thinking of something else or if your on single player switch to pve mode

Use the Cryo Hospital to restore food. No need for namless venom. And use the Gigraptor to change its needs from venom to somthing else.

Ok because I know it's hard, I'll help out. If you don't have nameless venom or just don't want to get or use it. There are 3 ways of raising them without it.

1st. Is obvious just use a pig to heal them, but he will require A Lot of food.

2nd. Is use a snow owl to heal the baby rock drakes. Which requires a lot of attention at first, but less and less as they age. Also quite a bit of food.

3rd. Which requires no food or feeding, only cryopods and a cryo hospital. Is to just wait until their food is empty and health gets low, then cryopod and put in cryo hospital to build health and food. Rinse and repeat until grown.

*Personally I like to use a mixture of all three and raise them 10 at a time. Can be all healed at once.

(Ark mobile) oh my gosh the controls are absolutely horrendous. Look in this direction “oh let’s jump the other way!” Jump up in the air “nah I don’t feel like gliding” trying to get that dash in the air attack? “I’ll do it when I feel like it” they LITERALLY could’ve just given the 4 arrows around the attack button just like the karkinos. But nope! You gotta sit there and figure out how the stupid thing works because whether it’s holding the jump button (it doesn’t always do the dash attack🤗) or holding the right side of the screen (also doesn’t always do the dash attack either) slide up on the left side of the screen (congrats you’re just wasting stamina hopping repeatedly because the stupid thing doesn’t want to glide) and then as mentioned earlier when on the side of the cliff, you want to jump in the direction YOU ARE LITERALLY LOOKING AT (nah we’re gonna jump a different direction and glide somewhere else). Literally every other Dino in the game (actually only on aberration rn so idk about all Dino’s) has no issue it’s JUST the stupid rock drake. It doesn’t matter if I turn on infinite stats and invulnerability and spend 2 hours using the rock drake, you CANNOT fully figure out how to actually use it properly. They genuinely need to fix it.

Guys should the rock drake glide faster at the speed of a maewing?

Keep in mind, you can use maewings to raise Rock Drakes without nameless venom. Hope this helps

(Ark mobile) How to use rock drake you must always be sprinting to glide when you are climbing on the side of something wherever your Drake‘s back is turned is where it’s gonna jump to and to dive, you have to click the attack button once a crosshair appears(from what I’ve seem it only appears when you look towards something you can walk on also if you stop gliding for like half a second you will fall. extra:) the only creatures I’ve seen that have wonky controls(or just don’t work) are the bloodstaker and the tropeognathus.
