It's an apex predator, so most aggressive dinos will be neutral to you when you ride it, except for gigas, rexes, spinos, allos, other rhynios, territorial dinos like chalicos or theris, water creatures, and 𝗺𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺𝘀.

If you want to pick any dino while playing on MOBILE, swipe down the attack button when being close enough to a dino. Rhyniognatha can't pick a flying creature. It can't pick charcha, giga. It can pick every dino, form Lystrosaurus to a Rex & Diplodocus! Ark On

If you fly to the side not straight, you take no damage while carrying a dino, could just be a bug but its helpful lol not tested on other carriers.

They can hang on cliffs, carry rexes, swim, fly very fast, and cary so many things. I was leveling a rhynio and I attacked a woolly rhino. This woolly rhino was max level and it was as difficult to kill as a moschops. Imagine if I had resin on this considering I don’t have sap.

I can not recommend to grab and tame megatheriums with it.

Usefull to tame rex without a single trap, just pick them and tranq them while flying backward (they can't hit you if you do it right). This work with dino that are big enough maybe medium to big (I tried it with paracer it's perfect I could go on a run killing male rhynio and tame new paracer on the way so my bug army will conquer the ARK), very usefull.

If you go to deep rivers or the ocean and fly just above the waters surface you can land on the water and glide just like a bloodstalker which causes you to sprint with extra drift and if you go to shallow water you will sink in the water and then start walking on land again.

for some reason i can pickup my wooden tree platform and place it again on any red wood tree (on ark mobile)

The ULTIMATE transporter for taming:

1. It can carry dinos with up to 600 drag weight, which allows you to carry almost every land creature, except for gigas, carcharos, brontos, and titanos. To mitigate damage from aggressive dinos while you are carrying them with your rhynio, you can:

1a. You can use the resin armor ability to take 40% less damage

2a. You can use the screech ability to "scare" almost every land creature for 20 seconds, but it has a 30 second cooldown. You can use this by dropping the creature, going on land, using the ability, then picking up the dino again to not get attacked for 20 seconds.

3a. You can strafe by flying perpendicularly left or right. This confuses the creature's AI and convinces to move its head in the opposite direction you are strafing, which prevents it from attacking you.

2. You can equip weapons while riding it, this allows you to:

2a. Tranq dinos while in the sky so they can't attack you, you can also tranq certain dinos that are being carried by your rhynio at the same you are riding your rhynio, this includes dinos like rexes, yutys, and other medium size creatures.

2b. Tranq dinos on land, using your rhynio's large health pool to tank, you can also use the screech ability or sap ability to minimize damage.

3. You can use its resin projectiles abilities to immobilize dinos by doing a rocket attack, then quickly switch to needle attack and it will make the dino stuck in seconds. (this takes some skill to learn and master)

Just be wary of other rhynios, because they will literally attack any wild animal that's not a megatherium, rex, spino, giga, carcharo, yuty or titano (this includes megs too they can target megs outside of water but they cant go into water lol) plus literally like all tames

Apex predator yet they spawn in packs of up to 3. But hey, at least you wont get aggroed on by microraptors or anything thats not a giga, rex, carcharo, megatherium, or another rhynio.

One of if not the best taming mounts. Fly around till you find a tame you want, and because you can fire off its saddle and face downwards while you fly, just fly above the dinos head and let em fly. And when it’s tamed up just carry it home. 10/10 bugs

In mobile they cannot carry vaults. i tried and wasted my materials lol

The rhynio can pick up the magmasaur

This thing can pick up rexes Spinos Paracers and even some structures

You don’t need to land to recover stamina

You can dismount in air then it will gain stamina mid air ,while flying and you won’t even fall off!!

Btw the creature you picked up fall off when you dismount
