Recent patch makes it impossible to tame inside a trap. Need to release it from trap before it will impregnate your dino. I wasted a bunch of pheromones for science

These guys are quite strong so when taming/ getting pheromone you should maybe get a high level rex and pump allot of levels into health cause their resin attack destroys your health.

I don't know if it was a bug or if it's part of the pregnancy, but my baby got VERY hungry and ate hundreds of berries.

every time I look for one of these, I always find a male I get the essence, but I can never find a female so only do it when you have a lot of time cause I’ve only found one female ever and I’ve played 237 hours of this game and I still haven’t found more than one and I find it easiest to have cheats on that way you could just spawn it but if you want to tame it for real very hard, so good luck

CLARIFICATION: What tame you use as the host DOES matter significantly. It is just like any other parent when breeding. Rhynio and your host will roll the stat game for what you get. You want your weight high? Get a good bronto. Damage? Say goodbye to a good giga. And make sure you have an ungodly amount of food.Or pick a host that is capable of harvesting that ungodly amount of food close to home in between cravings

Unfortunately, to the guy who asked if the pheromone can spoil… Yes, it does spoil. It takes a whole day thankfully. Just make sure you’re prepared to take on two rhyniognatha in a day and you should be fine. 👍

Do not use to steal wyvern eggs, too slow, only use if you are sure there are no wyverns, if you have resin, take the wyverns one by one, but be VERY cautious.

They spawn most commonly in the swamps north of the southern islets connecting to green ob, spawn slightly less commonly in the western swamp marshes, then spawn least common in the main writhing swamps south of the redwoods.

In ultimate mobile edition :If you get a imprint that you want to change than use a cryropod. Just put the rhyniognatha and release it. You will get a new imprint. If you dont get it in one try keep trying. It generally changes in 1 or 2 tries. Works well for the walk with you bugges imprint or hand fed bugs.

Tek creatures won't work as hosts. They won't eat the pheromone.

The easiest Dino to use if you just want to tame a rhyniognatha NOT FOR AMAZING STATS OR ANYTHING, is a spino because they have way to high hp and the damage is low enough that you can easily lower the ho of the mother without having to worry about killing them

i was flying my pt trying to find my base during the night to grab narcos to tame a rex and i was just minding my own business till this thing started shooting at me, i was so confused cuz i didnt think these were on the island and it decided to kill my pt, i made it away tho and i ran home to grab my other pt and i went back to get my body and i didnt see the rhynio, but then it came outa no where killed me and my pt, i was abt to cry bro

Rhyniognatha not follow problem

I thought originaly that they spawn only on Lost Island and Island. But i just spotted it on Fjordur. On the swamp island ( somewhere around 45 10)
