I think these guys only spawn in the island and the lost island map.

These mf are basically pack hunters(the don't spawn in packs) There are so many of them togather in the swamp and around the swamp. If two of them are close they will target the same creature even if a creature is closer to one of the rhynignathas then the other one is to that rhynignathas. I traped a rhynignathas to tame one and when I came back there were two, the other one came out of nowhere and started attacking the same structure as the one that was trapped so be careful when you are trying to tame one by trappeing one.

These thing are more common then kapro, sarco, thyla, mischops, pt and microraptors in the island map based on my 300 hours play time in that map in ark ultimate mobile edition and seruvival evolved.

Don't forget you guys, we can craft insect repellent to appear invisible to these guys!! This trick also works for taming Scorps or Spiders with rotten meat. Bump it to the top for those who are rusty!

If you’re trying to find it in Ragnarok (Mobile) they don’t exist there.

In my experience in ASA on the island, i usually one ever get 1 or 2 spawn at once at the swamp. Also in my experience they have fairly low torpor and a simple pistol wrecks them.

Pro tip: NEVER under ANY circumstances fly a PT anywhere NEAR the swamp. Dododex says they are rare, but you can get four swarming you at once. This will save your life, controller, and pt.

Btw these guys are actually hunters they will hunt you and lock on to you unlike any other creature. Not even a giga does that. One time I ran out of stamina on my pt with one of these chasing me so I dismounted and ran really, 30sec later my pt died and then like 5sec later I got no scoped.

Be carefulful around the swomps cuz rhynignathas ARE NOT RARE AT ALL. I got jumped by 6 once on my spinos and ran and then by 7 ish when I was on my giga(at the same time)

I was just flying near the redwoods to looks around when one of these freaks pulled up on me and my pt. I didn’t realize they were in the new mobile version so I screamed and tried to run away (it caught up) and I had to dismount my pt and run for it. DO NOT GO NEAR ANY SWAMP UNLESS YOU’RE PREPARED. THEY ARE SCARY.
