Major revelation: If you're flying in the swamp, wear a ghillie suit to not get you and your flier immediately get spotted and targeted. (only works when the wild rhynio is currently attacking something, don't randomly go up to a stationary rhynio and not expect to get chased)
This is similar to bug repellant but it also benefits your flier too.
The ghillie suit makes you not have to worry about 2 major dangers of the rhynio:
Its massive aggro range
&
Prioritization of you over other creatures (similar to a Rex but way worse)
Obviously, if you and another creature are in its aggro range and you are closer to it, there's a chance it might attack you first, but overall if you're wearing a ghillie suit, you don't have to worry about flying high above the swamps anymore to evade the rhynios.

Don't forget you guys, we can craft insect repellent to appear invisible to these guys!! This trick also works for taming Scorps or Spiders with rotten meat. Bump it to the top for those who are rusty!
If you’re trying to find it in Ragnarok (Mobile) they don’t exist there.
Pro tip: NEVER under ANY circumstances fly a PT anywhere NEAR the swamp. Dododex says they are rare, but you can get four swarming you at once. This will save your life, controller, and pt.
I was just flying near the redwoods to looks around when one of these freaks pulled up on me and my pt. I didn’t realize they were in the new mobile version so I screamed and tried to run away (it caught up) and I had to dismount my pt and run for it. DO NOT GO NEAR ANY SWAMP UNLESS YOU’RE PREPARED. THEY ARE SCARY.

Rare??? My ass rare... They spawn in 3-5 stack literally in redwood around swamp area... Yeah they have alreay eaten around 17 pteranodon, 1 iguana, 1 trike, 20 human and lots of my stuff hardly crafted and looted.

In ark mobile edition dont wander in swamp with a flyer they spawn in a pack and will destroy your pt/argy
So basically the swamp is a no fly zone like the redwoods all because of these oversized locusts. They somehow fly faster than a pteranodon and can shoot sap. Learned it the hard way twice by losing 2 tamed high level pteranodons.
you can find them the most near the redwoods and the swamp on like that little beach at least on the map the island you can find it on that beach but other than that, I don’t know where to find any sometimes you can find them in like the actual swamp, but it’s very hard to do this so so I just look on that little beach
