Yo I have a question do you have to feed the Dino the food it wants like veggie cakes or kibble?

I used a top level Giga for implant. 35k hp 2.2melee The wild female was Rhinio was lvl the baby born was lvl 59 with Garbage stats and I satisfied every craving. 3k hp and 300 melee.

Found in swamps on Island and Lost Island. Kill one to get the pheromones.

When you find a female, take it to low health then feed a large creature the pheromone. She will inject her larva. Your creature will then have cravings for random items including Element, Giga eggs, and Carch eggs. Fulfilling cravings gives a better level baby. When the offspring is ready, it will kill the host, so don’t use anything you aren’t willing to lose.

They are rare spawns in swamp biome on lost island and the island. You have to find 2 to tame one, and you might just end up killing it because the taming process is like a reaper, you must make its health below 100, and then it will lay eggs in your dino, if it has eaten the pheromone. Then it should fly away and you have to take care of the dino with eggs inside it. It will have cravings and you must feed it it’s cravings or the baby will die, and after a while the baby will pop out, partially grown. Then you just raise it from there, like a normal dino baby.

If you put their pheromone in a tame like example: a Wyvern, it will extend the spoil time by a day in my experience. Compared to when you hold it, it only having like 7-8 hours

To tame this creature kill a male rhynio and collect the pheromone from its corpse. Next find a female and when close by feed a tamed dino the pheromone. Next whittle down the females health and it will deposit the larvae on the host dino. During the incubation period the host will get cravings similar to imprinting and food consumption increases.

The size of the host dino affects the egg quality and stats of the rhynio

oh broo one day i was a beach bob i went on my petra to the redwoods to check out the new thylas next thing u know theres this giant bug with crab claws killed my petra killed me lost all my stuff but later once that beach bob became a good player i went back tamed a thyla left it at base pulled up on that exact same one and just pumped it full of bullets later i made a carcha army and went to the swamp and just killed em all got like 34 pheramones and made the females pump eggs into my brontos now i have a small army of these bugs :)

For everyone who wondered: YES, Rhyniogmatha gets 1.5x damage on it’s head.

These have been spawning on Valguero in the swamps as well.

It is very fast, be very careful when you fly on spawns, minimum needs for ptera so it can outrun it is ~500 stamina and 170% speed, if your ptera is 180% or above don’t be scared, also it can attack you while you ride something, you should fly lover to the ground so you can use terrain or use paracers to lure rhynio on them, don’t EVER try to kill them with ptera, it’s literally impossible in any way imaginable, use strong dinos with much attack, lure them on you and go closer to them until they’ll attack you in melee and then you can easily kill it.
