The rhynio level matters i usually go for 145 or 150 female.

Only male drop there pheromones so always make sure you kill al of them and stock them up for when you find the high level female.

The base stat of ur dinos dont matter its all about the mutations on 1x official we use the paracer or rexes for high hp sinds they have 50 or more mutations in hp my rhynio after 5 cravings pops as a 12- 15k hp baby

For weight bugs to farm with we use brontos sinds they have more weight mutations.

Any dino other than paracer ,rex or bronto is a waste of a tame and rhynio.

Found one on The Island, swamp roughly 75 Lat 25 Lon, it flys almost at the height of the Quetzal, if your close enough you’ll hear it’s wings a very low drone sound.

I'd suggest just getting a Rhynio, yeah say goodbye to your favorite tame for a better favorite tame

Me and a buddy knocked one out and beat it up until under about 100 health! As soon as it woke up we fed our bronto the pheromone and it attacked it just as it should! The only take away from this for me was the torp time lol BOY it took a while for this bug to wake up!

The Bronto craving was crazy because as soon as the first one came it asked for a Quetzal egg 😂! That craving stayed on 0% until the lil joker came out lol

If you are taming something and something else starts attacking it you can ise the rhynio's intimidate attack and it will scare just about anything wothout doing damage. If it doesnt scare them away you can pick them up and mpve them so that you dont accidemtally hit your tame.

Should probably bring a magnifying glass just in case so you can see it's health while biting is so don't accidentally kill, similar to reaper. Good luck!

First get a harpoon gun with the net projectile. Find a rhyniognatha, preferably a low level, and kill it. Take the pheromone to use on your large dino. Find another rhyniognatha and shoot it with the net. Using a magnifying glass and your sword, get the health really low, get on your dino and use the pheromone in the large dinos inventory. Wait a bit and your dino will get infected with the rhyniognatha’s larvae.

The spawn command for this is. summon rhynio_character_bp_c

For a tamed one it's summon "rhynio_character_bp_c" 150 will spawn a 150

Tamed just like the reaper the best creature for pregnant dragway matters is the best Gigantosaurus you have and carcharodontosaurus the cravings or requires black pearls element substrate, gasoline Quetzel, eggs, giga, eggs carcharodontosaurus, eggs and golden aspirin eggs kibbles veggies, sweet cakes soups bottled tartare shadow steak

Put sap in its inventory to start creating Rhyniognatha Resin, you can use the resin to pick up large scale dinos (caps out at rexes, Diplo's and paracers) structures like vaults and transmitters by holding R1 and pressing R2, Press R2 to place the structure again.(ps4 and Xbox)

Holding R1 and pressing L2 will swap resin projectile type, you have 3 options. Bomb, needle and rocket. Bomb lobs a glob of resin onto the ground and creates a pool of resin that will slow anything that steps in it down, if they're exposed to the resin for long enough, the victim will slow down to an achatinas pace if not completely freeze. L2 is to use resin projectiles.

Needles is especially a gun but with liquid resin as ammo, it's less accurate and takes some practice to use. L2 is to fire, each shot uses 1 resin.

Rocket is like needles except more accurate at the cost of firing speed, it allows you to zero in on anything you target. Hold L2 to target and let go to fire.

The Rhyniognatha is a glass cannon, it can't take a lot of damage but it makes up for that in dishing out a lot of damage towards enemies. Fire is it's ultimate weakness, steer clear of magmasaurs, fire wyverns and the occasional pyromaniac.

Pressing R3 (the right analog stick) like a button will trigger the "Taunt". It scares away larger scale dinos and below, including rexes and Yutyrannus. There is a cooldown to the taunt.

Holding R1 and pressing R3 will activate Resin armor, it's halves any damage dealt to the Rhyniognatha. Similar to the Stegosaurus' Hardend Plates. Will only activate if resin is in the Rhyniognathas inventory.

Need a tip for these things? Avoid them till you can get a rex or a spino saddle and the creature and just look for them. Avoid swamps and redwoods. For taming:

Get a rex if you have spares, find a male, kill it, get its pheromone, find a female, get her to 100 hp, use the pheromone on the rex and have her impregnate your rex and just fill your rex with meat. About how to get levels for the baby before it hatches - it has cravings here and there where it asks for certain foods or rare drops.

These things are all over the swamp biomes in ark UME. One thing you’ve got to look out for is multiple in the same place 😂😂 Got my Rex impregnated and proceeded to be attacked by another Rhynio. Up this for sh*ts and giggles

How to tame a rhyniognatha (rh for short)

Step 1 go to spawn location with a large tame and a argy.

Step 2 find and kill a male and take its rh pheromone

Step 3 find a female and lower it to less than 10% health but do not kill it.

Step 4 feed the rh pheromone to your Dino (I used a bronto and it works great) and it will make it pregnant and fly away.

Step 5 your Dino will go through TONS of food when pregnant with the rh so bring lots of food. Your Dino will also lose health over time until it reaches zero and gives birth to the rh. Your Dino will also ask for cravings those are not required but do increase its level when born.

Step 6 once born wait until it matures and then enjoy the gigs of the sky!

Pro tip: when chased by a rh on a flyer tame do not fly straight fly in an unpredictable way to avoid its ranged attack that will make your Dino unable to move.

They apperantly don’t leave your body after they kill you so just have them kill u far away from your original death and u should be able to get your stuff if u crouch and walk

I was playing the new mobile version for awaile and started to get a hang of it till then when I go near the swamp not even 3 hours later i found one very quickly which is crazy because there supposed to be one the rarest creatures and boi the craziness doesn’t stop here after awhile like 6 minutes i found 2 more which is crazy!.

I fricken hate these little shits I’m trying to find a new base spot cuz icthyornis and they killed my best pt devs need to make these less deadly or make them a cave creature Ik I’m not the only one who thinks this
