When u tame a Rex, they will sometimes let out a roar before they attack what you targeted (if u have it set to “target”) the good thing about this is this roar will put small animals into a temporary stasis, like raptors, dilos, basically anything smaller then a ankleo or trike

This is just an idea but, Dododex PLEASE add tek dinosaurs to the list. Of course tek Rex's also, they don't have the same stats as normal dinosaurs.

This isn’t really a tip but about how many narco darts would it take to knock a 13-16 level Rex?Just wondering cause I found one near my base.

Whoever said a baby Rex at 6% with 1 stack of meatl will last until juvenile is right I did this and my Rex didnt even eat it all I do recommend putting out a few troughs just to make sure it has food for when its juvenile

These are so op I tamed a Tek Rex in single player... he is now lvl.350 got 30k live over 1000% melee damage he is like a giga I gave him the name: Omega Rex BTW he is easy to Tame just get him to a high cliff but be carefull

A lvl 150 spino takes about 60 tranqs, but a lvl 150 rex takes almost 100 tranqs. Get a spino, they’re better

Everyone says how good the Rex is. And yeah. I'm gonna suck this guy off too. The Rex is basically ARK's right of passage of you want to defeat the bosses and get to the fancy Tek. If there was a tier list for ARK's creatures from S to F, I would have to make a God tier for it and some other dinos. However, I am gonna stop saying my praise there. Despite all the good in the Rex, I feel as if it is the most... generic of the apexes. It has a huge health pool, but the Giga's is larger. It is decently fast and does alot of damage, but the Spino does more damage, and is faster and more agile. The Rex has its pooplock roar, but the Yuty has its fear and courage roars. Now, this isn't me hating on the Rex. I love it as much as the next guy. But I feel as if it needs to step out of the spotlight for a bit to give others the chance to shine.

REmember to keep this little sh@t on passive while fighting a level 100 alpha carno thats on 200 health

Ok, I'd like a real advice from normal players, not noobs that trap dodos with behemoth gates. How many level 100 Rexes do I need to take down the gamma bosses? Please don't write that I need level 300, because it's not true. I saw a guy take down gamma brood with like 3 level 100 spinos, a rex and a bear of levels about 80. He died when he tried beta, so I'd like to now if something like that (5-6 Rexes)is enough for the rest of gammas?

The reason why Rex can’t break stone is the durability of the teeth,remember it can break stone but the teeth can break after that so ye,Rex have to remember that and don’t bite stone if it don’t want to be weaker

Great tames good defenders in pve good at raiding in pvp can take on alpha raptors Carnos not alpha rexes though

I am here to unite the two factions on war since time immemorial: The Rex faction and The Spino faction...

First of all, yes everyone has their on opinion but this is MY opinion so without further ado...

I dont believe in "Rex are better than Spinos" thing

Because in certain scenarios the Spino is IN FACT better than The Rex for example: When Fighting in an area with water a spino can excel in combat with higher attack speed and damage when it has the wet buff and when brutally injured can run fast and swim fast.

But the rex on the other hand has higher health and stamina which means it can tank most damage than the spino can and endure longer runs than the spino but lacking the speed.

In conclusion...

They are both GREAT. Get both of them..

I have a Spino (Riptide) and a Rex (Megabyte) both of them are equally leveled and powerful

I will be pasting this on the spino side aswell..

But do remember even if i love spinos and rexes

I still believe Gigantosaurus supremacy

If your trying to get the egg for a persuit use an argy. Rex won’t aggro unless you hit it first
