Once tamed are great and with a saddle better but they can’t swim well and here’s the big one they take huge fall damage so don’t go thinking jump off a mountain because he can’t it will Die but believe me I tried

If you’re not going to use a trap, I suggest riding a griffin or another flying mount that allows weapons, although taming a high level Rex is much easier with a trap as it ensures it won’t die attacking another creature. My trap suggestion is rather simple. You place down 3 stone Dino gates (not behemoth) in a square shape and hold onto the last one. Then you lure in your chosen Rex with another tame (this is the difficult bit). Once it starts attacking one of the gates, place the 4th behind it, and then happy tranq-ing. Hope this helps you :).

as u can see darts are the most effective. load up, have a friend pick u up in a bird, and fire away. i suggest the spike wall tactic just to be safe if you want a perfect tame! we got ourselves a 150 female earlier today and woke up at a lv 220!!

How to tame rex ez instead of making a trap find a tall cliff then knock it out with rifle or tranqs then feed it exceptionl kibble (scorpion kibble ark mobile) and narcotics I recommend bio toxins but idc ur opinion.

Some say no creature attacks one which is knocked out, welp hyaenas killed my 140

On mobile I knocked 240lvl but when I go to get meat (kill some dinos) it despawns, and yes I know nothing killed it because I have my tapejara next to him but on my luck and my experience from before I saved data when I knocked it. Beware guys do not leave them alone they can despawn on some places espesauly in volcano, under blue obelis... And sorry for my bad english, hose I helped. ✌🏻

It cost 40 amber, and I have 37. I can get this amber in 2 daily pursuits. Tell me should I revive him. Yes or no. Someone comment if yes or no on Everything Else New.

Hey Dino Tamers! Wanna know a simple hack to taming this big fella? Follow the steps below:

1. Grab around 20 or so LARGE bear traps and about 45 tranq darts, along with plenty of meat.

2. Find and locate an open valley containing a singular rex (the valley is optional, but a lot safer).

3. Place around 15 of the bear traps in a gathering on the ground in the SAME GENERAL AREA; it is recommended that you are at a safe distance away from the rex.

4. Shoot one tranq dart at the rex, and run behind your bear traps.

5. Keep shooting at the rex as it comes into the traps; the rex should get stuck with every step that it takes.

6. Once knocked out, fill the inventory with meat and bam! Shortly after, depending on what you feed the beast, you should have yourself a slayer feared by all!

Run close to it and keep running around it and shoot it with tranqs(It has a big turn radius so you won't need a trap)Make sure not to run in a straight line

All I do to tame max levels is just run around shooting it with trank arrows from my 225 dm crossbow.

Equipment Taming

1 Longneck Rifle.

Around 200 Darts incase. Depends on lvl

4 Stone gates.

1 Large bear trap.

Place 3 gates next to the large bear trap.

Get the rex attention and run past the bear trap.

Until the rex gets stuck in the trap.

Then place 1 gate behind the rex don't get to close.

Then shoot rex until it knocks out.

This also works with spino

Taming a Rex is easy and very rewarding. You can tame it a few different ways. The first is to use a trap. Set 3 dino gates place a giant bear trap down in the middle then place the last one behind it and shoot till it knocks out. Or you can run and shoot it with Trang darts as you run, this is the easiest way as long as you don’t run out of arrows. Good luck! -droid

I tend to use the stand on a rock and shoot the Rex in the face, strategy......seems to always work......

There are different ways to knock out Rexes but Traps are probably the best solution. You can use three Stone Dinosaur Gateways (Rexes can't destroy stone) and a Large Bear trap by leading the Rex into the BTrap and surrounding it by Gates. Or you could also use a Raft Trap which is a better way to spend resources, since you can move it instead of remaking Traps. You can also get your knocked Rex to safety by taking advantage of the movement capability. I currently cannot think of any other ways to trap a Rex, but if this was helpful, please leave a like. ❤

I recently tamed a lvl 167 tek rex and i suggest having 150 arrows (or more) if its above lvl 100 (you don’t beed to that many but always bring extra incase) for beginners 4 stone dino (not behemoth gates) or metal and place 3 like forming a square but leave one side open put a large bear trap in the middle and get the rex to go into the middle of the unfinished square and let it get stunned by the bear trap go to the other side where it was open and place the final gate there finishing the square( this is the easiest method) for beginners you can bring more gates or bear traps large if you want and also bring a fast tame if you don’t wanna risk it although you’ll probably be fine without a quick raptor or tame.

These bad boys are east to tame! (Recommending a 130-145 or higher) The higher the level the stronger so it will be harder. Get four metal signposts and get a flyer to distract the Rex recommending an argy then you trap the Rex with the signposts in a square order. It doesn’t have to be perfect but make it accurate so it doesn't escape. Then get some tranqs and start knocking! Then get some prime and a feed it, after that get a saddle *you don’t have to* and name it! Now delete the signposts or if you have god console just say the command “forcetame” and there you go!

Here’s a tip that might work

If you want to tame any knockout tame trap the creature then place a bed or sleeping bag sleep knockout the creature when you wake up and put the food in its inventory it would eat the food fast and securing an easy tame but bring the creature to a safe place so it doesn’t die
