For instant tame you have to just run underneath the rexs and tickle it’s belly no kibble or prime needed

A rex like a argy has a blind spot where it can't hit you just stay on its tail and run in sircles blind spot is behind him close up sometimes you'll get hit but make sure you got good armor when he starts running chase the coward down

1. Hit it with tranq darts or tranq arrows until it gets too drunk on tranqs and is knocked out.

2. Put lots of raw meat in it's inventory (if you don't have any just find a nearby dino to kill)

3. Remember to feed it narcotics to keep it from waking up while you're taming it

4. hooray you have a t rex now

Actually I never thought I can find these in the redwoods forest. I'm on mobile so I don't know for PC/Console.

I was out looking for high level rexs on what I like to call the Viking map. When I couldn’t find any good levels I went to the lava island and found a level 150 female Rex. I killed the low level that was with her and started shoting traq darts when she started running I had got so scared when she ran into lava. I stopped firing and luckily she got out before she died and I knocked her out and tamed her.

If your taming a Rex then you need 1 pulmonoscorpius kibble and 3x soothing balm it will tame instantly if you are in easy mode

Get a long neck rifle and bullets just in case things go south and bring a crossbow with 50 to 100 tranqs and make a trap with four behemoth gates and shoot it

What I just learned was apparently if you run through a very dense forest with a lot of tiny trees they get stuck and confused in their AI doesn't know what to do... I had a trap and everything and he couldn't make it to the trip because he kept getting stuck in between trees

Rex: taming you are going to need: some food any flesh meat and also have smoothing blam to for faster taming also get the cheap one if you want to buy the more faster taming ones if you are on hardcore and also the most best location is the volcano near the red woods forest but saber tooths love that spot so be careful and kill all threats: have a pt or a argy and fly out try to avoid the red woods because those things love to jump off trees and kill your flyer: start shooting the head for faster knock out: once it's knock out *put your food that you chose* and start the taming once it's up take it to your base and the Rex do have a roar and bite attack:

Also if you want it to your base super fast go back to base put your Rex on attack target so I don't die and put it on sit mode go back to base and request your Rex back to base put it in a comfortable spot you have your own Rex I appreciate your time for reading this and have a very good damn day...........

I sacrificed a larger high lvl turtle and while it was fending off the Rex I tranq the heck out of the Rex. My turtle had about 1800 hp and I used about 25 to 30 tranq arrows I'm not sure how much meat I used I put in about 2 stacks

Took me so long to knockout and it glitched into the ocean and drowned 😭😭

here is something that would be cool in ark.

you know, scientists wonder why the T-rex have them tiny arms. they are so short they cant do much, so people have very few ideas because of what is known about these beasts. but some think they uses there claws to poke into dinosaurs that are hard fights such as a T-rex would hold down a smaller but big enough for its tiny arms to hold. so i think it would be cool if rexes in ark could hold down big and only big dinosaurs.

punch the sky if you think would be something you would think nice to be a bigger stronger animal for the end game, i never get many so just if you can.

Rexes are scary to tame and hard to tame but it’s worth it 😀

Use a tame that can take a beating, like a thyla, preferably an imprinted one. Then use a really good crossbow, they reload quicker so as your tame takes the beating you don’t have to worry about it being killed as you are pelting the rexy with arrows. Then once it starts running you can take your time pelting it with arrows so you don’t kill the Rex you are taking.

I got a raft base, tranq the red, fed it, and gave it a ride to my dock

Don’t tranq it near the beach, it might run into the water and kill itself

Easy tame on genesis 2 just fly above it with your free tek suit

Easy levels on a map with explorer notes

Easy Ascendant saddles with genesis 1 mission: hide and sink

Easy breeding on genesis 2, do maewing race, it will give you faster raising buff, get egg incubator from a drop to hatch eggs easily.

If you need rexes with good levels on the island... just take a powerful tame to the carnivore island (in the top right corner of the map) and kill everything you see. Sooner or later you will get what you need. (You don't need to leave the island for them to respawn I believe).
