Here’s how your going to tame this hunk of junk:

You will need: longneck rifle with tranq darts (or a bow with tranq arrows if not at that level) and a huge rock.

Stand on top of the huge rock and shoot him in I’ve stomach or the head till he drops then feed him raw meat and narcotics until he becomes your Rex!

Bring a stack of Tranq arrows, a bow, 30 narcotics and a flying boi. Then you gotta find one lead it to a big ol rock that it can’t get on and shoot it until it runs then chase it down and tame. Need at least 4 stacks of meat or kibble or whatever

The way I tried to tame mine (I didnt wanna tame it tho this works best for any situation) put down a three by three of stone foundations (anything under stone will be destroyed) and four levels of door frames with two levels of walls on top. use tranc darts for the best results.

Need to know before taming! On mobile, the Rex has very high torpor!!! It took me 30 - 50 darts from my mastercraft longneck rifle to bring down a 135. Make sure to bring lots of extra darts!!

Just knocked out a level 145 Rex with 29 train darts !

the best places to find. 1: arctic. 2: top of redwoods. 3: around mountains. 4: bottom of red woods. to tame it just get fast mount and shoot it while its distracted on a tame or wild animal and just shoot it. if you tame it with only a sling shot your either a man, or a idiot.

how to tame a rex:

- rides a raptor

-Take meat (raw early is the best)

-take narcoberries, narcotics, biotoxin...

- run behind the rex he doesn't know how to turn around

- shoot tranquilizer arrows at his behind

when he is asleep watch him prevent him from waking up but don't worry there is only a giga who will attack him...

To tame this beast you will need 3 behemoth gates 2 behemoth doors a longneck rifle or crossbow about 100 Trank arrows or a 100 Trank darts. This will depend on its level though next you will place your behemoth gates close enough the Rex can’t get through but far enough apart you or you and your Dino can get out than place the doors on both ends open 1door than get the Rex to chase you in to the trap run out the side and shut the door then shoot it with the tranks until he or she is out than feed prime meet muten or kibble then he or she is yours. The other methed if you have a flyer with a lot Stam and speed get you tranks and shoot it till it gets close hop on your tame fly a little way away hop of and shoot it again and repeat until it is nocked out if this was helpful press the arrow that points to the sky if you need more help gust get on you tube and search how to tame a rex

One time I knocked out a high level rex that I randomly by running around its feet and shooting at it, just stay behind it and you’ll be fine. I do recommend having metal armor just in case though

How to tame rexy (ark mobile exclusive)

All you need is

Tranq arrows and darts (bring plenty, about 200)

150 bio toxins

Prime meat 50

Soothing balm(if possible)

They are found in snowy mountains and they respawn pretty fast

Just aggro one and run while shooting periodically, they run pretty slow-ish so yea, chase it when it starts torpor running until its unconscious

Keep an eye on him cus they might get conscious and boom rexy has been successfully tamed, the pc version of trying to tame it is a lot more harder and takes skill but mobile is basically rex running

Tame a high level argy and use it to lead the Rex into a trap with three stone gates and a large bear trap in the center, when the Rex gets immobilized by the trap, run behind and place a fourth gate behind it and shove tranqs until it’s out. BAM! Rex

Get on a cliff and tranq it like hell

Btw there is no head multiplier, shoot it in the body where you likely won’t miss, and you can get on an elevated platform. Once it starts running shoot very slowly, once every 6 seconds for max efficiency, be extremely cautious. I once tamed a tek stego lvl 162 and I shot it when it was about to fall. I lost 20% taming effectiveness. Also tek Rex’s (and any other tek variants) can be like ten levels higher than normal even on official. Also if you aren’t using prime then that’s a big mistake, make prime your minimum. At least use mostly prime and finish with normal meat.

U can u have a Dino that has tons of health and while the Rex is going for it tranq the Rex

If you want to tame a Rex you need too have a pteranodon and 100 tranq arrows then fly a bit away and shot

Use only bolas to tame it and you're good to go!

The Rex, despite it’s reputation in media everywhere else is a piece of cake here in Ark. Maybe I might be exaggerating slightly since I got brutally mauled by one trying it on foot, granted I had 477 tranqs in my inventory but oh well. Anyway to tame the Tyrant Lizard King you need: A balm, kibble prime meat or scorpion kibble, Bio-Toxin 4 Stone Gates, 100-ish Tranq arrows, 1-3 Bear Traps, 900 armor at the minimum and an optional fast moving mount. Set up the Gates and Bear Traps in your hot bar, place 3 of the gates in this manner |_| and put the bear traps in it, then lead the rex on foot or with the mount to the trap, once the rex stops moving and starts biting put the gate. Now tranq it, and put the balm and either hunt for prime meat or put kibble, force feed bio toxin in this process. Voila, you now have the second most ferocious carnivore in Ark and the most Famous. i tame it be cause he stock in two woods so i just simply hit thei with bow and tranq arrow and boom i have a pet rexx😅😅
