You should get to high ground to a point it can’t reach you then start shooting it (it’s best to use trank arrows or something like that)

Just lure them into a taming pen built with stone with your fly mount or fast mount for example gallimimus (RIP Genesis 😭) or raptors (RIP Blue 🥺) keep the pen away from your base. Check once in a while on it to trap it again if it managed to glitch out of the pen. Tranqs are ok or Toxicants are better. Feed soothing balm if possible to get a more outstanding result. Kibble is recommended but make sure you prepare those beforehand. If on mobile, that’s pulmonoscorpius kibble for you. If any other platform, Moschops or titanboa is suggested for you.

The best way to fight a Rex is with a tapejara or argent, argents are stronger and deal more damage and have more health, and will regain it quickly after eating the corpse. Tapes are faster and have a 3 seat saddle for a tribe mate to shoot from while you fly, and can also hang from walls and are very manoverable than argents

All x creatures take more tranq arrows and darts to knock them out. To save you some time Calculate the number of x creature you want to tame and whatever it says to knock it out times what ever you are using by 2.5, so if a Rex took 50 tranq arrows, an x Rex would take around 125 tranqs.

Tamed mine between the swamp and redwoods. Took me long, not because of knockin' it out but, because I kept forgetting the structures for my trap and the first ones, I brought the wrong Argy 😂 Then second I forgot my ramp. However it went well.

Just 3x3 foundations with 3 walls high, and ramp on and side, and you have a Rex trap.

I only tamed it when I was only Level 1 :D.It was a Level 16 Rex,I found it on Herbivore Island. Lol jk for my level,I was level 29 or 30.

Let me tell you how I got my Rexes I just got 10-15 Giant Bear Traps and placed it all down and and started using my tranq arrows and running to the bear traps like a PUS- and he would get stuck and still would want to chase me you poor bas- then he would try to run but I would chase him and knock him down.

I was on my ichthyosaur and then I saw a level 11 Rex murdering ankylos soo I spammed trank arows at while I was ridding my ichthy and until he was knocked out if u don't have an ichthy I personally recommend climbing a high hill and shooting down at him Aslo bring like 20narcotics just in case and I was only level 27 when I got this rex

To tame you will need to be near a cliff and have tranq arrows in a crossbow, once its knocked out you give it food... I did it with kibble it was easy

my red was easy for level 10 I used 5 electric prods and it was knocked out the pro way

Guys I found one at level 20 I'm at level 30 I was on a high ledge and I tamed it it was easy

I use minor soothing balm tho

Ok, I'd like a real advice from normal players, not noobs that trap dodos with behemoth gates. How many level 100 Rexes do I need to take down the gamma bosses? Please don't write that I need level 300, because it's not true. I saw a guy take down gamma brood with like 3 level 100 spinos, a rex and a bear of levels about 80. He died when he tried beta, so I'd like to now if something like that (5-6 Rexes)is enough for the rest of gammas?

If you have flak armour and 700 health you can just tame it without a trap by just shooting it and letting it bite you if it’s really low level like 40 at best

I'm a low level and saw a tek rex earlier today and turned around and ran as fast as I could well I checked behind me to check my progress in escaping and noticed its stuck in a rock, so I turn around and equip a club and beat it, had to repair that club 15 times but now I have a rex and am just cruising the beach and smoking everything

Make a pin out of stone gates leaving one end open. Drop a large bear trap inside. Lure the Rex inside slapping down last gate behind it. Make sure to kill everything around or be sad. Woot 2nd try 8)

⭐ I went to make a cryo fridge at the green obelisk and after I crafted it, there was a rex in a cryopod sitting in the obelisk inventory, so I grabbed it and now I have a Rex...⭐ Just sharing because I've never heard anybody do this... Is this normal..? Is it part of an event..? ⭐ At first I thought it was somebody else's, but it has me name on it...⭐
