Don’t try to tame a apex Rex with normal arrows you will die of old age

U can super easily outrun it on foot

Find a cliff get about 100 tranq arrows just in case and shoot it, simple, easy, fun.

I knocked out level 120 rex with 12 toxic arrow and tame it with kibble and 15× shooting balm about 1 minute

Low level Rexes are surprisingly easy to tame. I just knocked a level 4 with 13 tranqs from a almost broken crossbow. I recommend starve taming, that method works best with just about everything. Now I have me a Rex named Valkryie, and I’m twenty levels away from the saddle :|

The best way to tame one is to tame a quez and hit it with tranq it from above

Find tons of high levels on extinction I found a 150 and 145 right next to each other

Use helling brew and use 40 trank with crowsbow and use metal Armor so Rex damage was very low

On mobile if you swipe up on the left side the red roars which temporarily stuns smaller creatures. Use it to keep skittish prey still, it stops working by the time the rex starts attacking though....

Me and my friend just rode some high level raptors and one would distracts Rex and the other would shoot Tranks this worked because the raptors are so much faster than the Rex

If you are on an animal it's way easy to tame these guys. I'd also recommend having the kibble and having a creature of any kind with high health. You can knock these guys out on foot too, but it's a lot harder and you risk other animals killing you/the rex. I'd also recommend not going after any mate boosted rex, since the torpor you do is directly related to the damage you do.

For me, I just stood on a higher land than Rex, but not like the stupid people and just a high cliff. I stood atop my battlements( for those who don’t know, are massive walls higher than any creature and have an extremely large amount of resistance.) and shot at it a few times and had it done. It could easily be a high structure instead, but a strong and less necessary one, but none of this cliff stuff or high rocks. You do that, might as well go at it and try punching it to death.
