A tip that works with most land dino is to just get it near the bottom of a cliff, then stand at the top of the cliff and it's too dumb to go around so it's an easy ko

Bring about double tranq arrows to be safe

This guy is easy in the redwood if you've got a tapejara, just cling onto a tree and shoot at it with tranq arrows, just be sure that you've got enough tranq arrows.

Get ready to place a wall infront of your tribe mate and run

Just get a mount with 5k plus hp for taming lower levels and 10-15k for higher levels just sit there and take the damage while giving it hell with tranqs

A Rex has a large bite range so if you wanna tame one I suggest u go on top of a high cliff but make sure it’s safe first. You don’t want to run into any Raptors or a Carno.

get a friend on a flyer to pick you up and hover above the rex high enough that it cant hit you then tranq it

See one tame it then kill a brontosaurus

Stand on a rock and shoot it up+make it a bigggg rock

If you are lv 100 with lots of speed, melee damage and health (I used God Console but u can get there without it) you basically kill the rex with a few hits ;3 It eats normal meat aswell.

Best taming way is to put six pilars the one on top of each other and climb up the ladder so he can't reach you and tame it easily tip:bring parachute s with you and built with stone pilars

They are hard to tame but if you are going to i use the double gun method shoot it with 1 tranq dart from far to aggro it then get on a high rock or on a flyer that you can shoot off use two tranq dart rifles instead of one to shoot more tranq darts faster (you can use any tranqs you want but i think it works better with darts).

Take a flyer to a tall ledge where the rex can't hit you and just tranq it. If you need to lead it to a ledge make sure your on land, they won't try to eat anything flying.

They usually have a neutral temperament with me. When I fly up to them and touch them with my Argy, they usually dont attack me.

Tame a flying creature, then find a rex, then

get to a big rock then shoot with tranq arrows or darts. then when it starts to flee, chase it and grab at least 200 narcotics and feed with either raw meat or prime. hope this helps!

So I had 3 boss Rex eggs and well 2% chance of triplets and ended up with 9 boss Rex's and no girlfriend

Get a something that flies and can pick you up have a friend pick you up hover over the Rex and hit it with tranqs till it’s out

What I do is I have my friend pick me up with a pteranodon or any flying Dino and then shoot it with tranqs and it can’t do anything to you
