Honestly i tamed a lvl 130 with ease with my friend. They are slow so we ran with 130%+ movment speed and ran diffrent ways, it will go chase one person and the other shoots it with tranq darts

Rexes are like Carnos on steroids. At 100% melee damage they do 60 damage so at 500 they already can do 300 a bite, in addition to this they can easily go upwards of 20 - 30k hp or higher and can carry quite a lot, they aren’t slow by any means but their one downside is their somewhat poor stamina

there is no reason to waste materials in making a trap just ride around on like a saber or a raptor or your feet with good armor its much more fun

No one is saying this but on mobile in the snow area there’s lots of Rex’s and they’re usually alone around height rocks and cliffs. I’m about to take one I’ll come back to let you know if it was successful. Up for mobile players to see.

It was very hard to tame 265 level Rex

Having a flyer like a argentavis quetzal tapejara or a pteranodon I’m not telling to pick it up but I tamed a level 29! So easy just lead it to bunch of kind herbivores and let it chase it and there you go tranq or shoot it once. You knock it out there you go make sure to protect watch out for surroundings good luck!

Rex is a slow dummy it get stuck pretty easily and if u pump some levels into speed then u can out run if so they are very easy to tame but u just need lots of tranqs and make shore u check your area for any other fast and annoying Dino’s to they don’t mess up like raptors and carnos but that is not them all there are others just know that a Rex isn’t too scary it’s just the things in its area

Cheap solo tactic with quetz platform saddle just fly above it and pay it with traq darts. Shooting fish in a barrel.

A good tip to keep in mind is that if you have a thyla it can easily outrun it then just shoot it it took about seven shots with tranq darts at level 10

What is good about rexes they have good status high damage good weight and good stuff. For me the best way was to go on a cliff and the knock it out and use it’s needed kibble because for me it only need two.

You should be the leave to get the saddle before you take so you can use it off the bat

Make a stone cage with a stone gate and lead the rex in with a flying creature then knock it out.

Trex is so cool and big long and the 2 coolest thing ever its is the teeth and the nails and tail

It is really easy because they are slow. I recommend to build a big raft with stone and go to the snow part, make the Rex follow you and get ok you ship and go like 200 feet away. Start shooting it with anything you got that will knock it out. I used thank arrows. Get some meet and keep it sleepy with narcotics. And that is how I got one at level 40
