Easiest way: using stone build a 1×1 bunker 2 floors high. Second floor walls should be all windows. Once you've done this, lead the rex to you, get inside and crouch. Now just tranq the hell out of it shooting out the windows.

Ran into a level 13 female alfa on the way to the volcano

Get of a Ptera, get the rex to aggro on you, find a cliff, and shoot down at it with tranq darts until KO. Keep an eye out for any raptors or other little dweebs that'll knockdown the efficiency.

if you are fast enough, you can actually just run shot run shot the rex (tested this on low lvls and always worked)

Using your pelagornis fly to a safe distance and land then run up on it using a crossbow and tranq darts while you're back peddling hit it with darts jump on pelagornis and repeat

85 latitude 80 longitude is a good place to find some on the island there's usually one or two

If you find one near a mountain get on the mountain and it will just look at you (it might try to climb up if it’s a small mountain/Hill ) then just shoot it in the face with dart tranq arrows etc ( just be careful of other dinos that may be on that hill or maintain with you )

On carnivore island on the island it gets stuck pretty easily. Easy to lead into trees to get it stuck just make it follow you to the tree area. I hit it twice with Tranq arrows then went in with my frog and used its topor attack easy tame. The hard part was protecting the tame for the time nessesary to tame it.

If taming on the redwood mountain, use the trap method it saves you sooo much stress as it stops the rex from nearly eating you when you get stuck on a boulder and then running away right near to a thyla.

i used thycacoleo climbed up a cliff - where It couldn't eat me. I used my long neck rifle and tranquilized then fed it narcotics and raw prime meat/raw meat

Rex's are slow to turn, with 130 movement speed and 200 health I can solo tame them on foot just stay off to the side rear of the Rex also I do it in basic flak

If you down a 120 and are using prime meat to tame it leave 10 minutes before the timer ends I would have lost mine if I hadn't trusted my gut and left when I did

Using a flyer with the capability to carry a player, one can suspend a tribemate over the rex to tranq it.

The best way to knock one out is to have a friend carrying you on your argi so you can shoot it it the face with some tranquilizer arrows

Easy process to find a tek rex on the island in UME:

1. Go to carnivore island

2. Bring a strong tame that can decimate every creature there (i usually bring a carcharo cuz it can 1 shot almost every creature there)

3. Kill any raptor, sabertooth, carno, argy, and rex that spawns there and continue for as long as you can until you see a shiny, metallic rex that looks robotic

4. If you're on singleplayer, then here are some bonus tips:

4a. I recommend backing up a save file every time you see a supply crate reach the ground since every time you enter your game a supply crate will be guaranteed to spawn near you shortly after. (You can also use this to farm keys since you wont need fo fly miles at a time to check every supply crate since if you're at carno island every supply crate that spawns WILL ALWAYS be on carno island unless you leave) If you can't kill everything on carno island once before the first supply crate reaches the ground, then back up a save every time you kill a rex or 2.

4b. If you find an alpha raptor, carno or rex and you need better gear you can back up your save and then kill the alpha to have a chance to get hide armor, sickles, pikes, metal axes, metal picks, crossbows, bows, and finally simple pistols (sorry this doesnt include swords). Chitin armor can also drop from alpha carnos and alpha rexes, and when paired with a high enough difficulty level and good enough luck, you can get a mastercraft or ascendant piece of chitin armor that can be stronger than a primitive flak piece (100 armor)

All of the trapping stuff and all that is bs js gotta be fast enough and have enough tranqs unless your trying to keep him from running into water or something

MAKE A BIG TRAP (I learned the hard way i made the trap too small)

Their is a good way to tame a t Rex set three small dino gates in a box shape have a lage bare trap in the box the have a t Rex chase yo get it to walk in to the lage bare trape and place the fourth dino gate to trap hi in the tame a lot of trank darts or Aroe s and shoot it until it gets nockt out and feed it prie meat happy tame
