What you needs to do is.

Requirements: long neck rifle with darts. A flight. Know that you need to lead it home without getting you or it killed.

Step one: find the area near the snow if there's a rex there

Step 2: get on the big rock and shoot him once to get his attention

Step 3: keep shooting him until he's down but wait 5 seconds each

Step 4: have your taming rates high if you want to feed it raw meat (4 bites)

Step 5: get it home hehehe

Step 6: make a saddle and YOU GOT A REX BOOOOOOI

Try to make it stuck, i went on a hill that it couldn't get up and shot it with darts from the top of the hill and it was simple enough to tame all I used was raw prime meat and it takes in under an hour with no boosts or anything

When it sees you it will roar, take this time to run. If not, lead it to basically anything, they attack almost everything they see.

Base movement speed on a human is actually faster than a wild rex. No need to sacrifice your tribemate unless you run out of stamina!

If your trying to track 150s in bulk to setup a breeding operation, I recommend taking a high level argy to carno island, keep flying in in circles killing everything to get rex spawns. In about 4 hours I had 4 150s tranqed.. If your lucky there is some open space to build a rex trap. GL!

I just ran in circles while my team was on the roof of our base shooting

Steps on how to tame a Rex:

1. Build four metal bill boards and a bear trap place three in square shape put the large bear trap in metal guide Rex into the trap place the final bill board.

2. Now that the Rex is trapped you will need around 30 tranqs for a low lvl 1-30 for a higher lvl you will need around 100 tranqs 30-100

3. feed it raw prime meat or Exceptional kibble

I would have around 20 kibbles just in case

but prime meat/mutton is easier.

So heres my tip for noobs that want a rex

1st. 30 tranq arrows

2nd. A crossbow

3nd. A high cliff that the rex cant get to

Now after u find a really high ciff that u can still shoot the rex but the rex cant get you

Shoot it

Then feed it raw prime meat

I prefer using a theri to getting meat cuz its ez to make things extinct in hervivore island

Boom u now have a evovled murder ostritch

this is the unit most people use to do bosses. they line them up and crypod them when doing raid or boss. they are what im gonna use for my first boss ever. people like breed them then they mutate the baby then be super buff for bosses. good tame

Rex is strong and powerful when fighting against.

But you can easily trap the Rexy with enough materials. To trap the Rexy, you'll need the following steps; Build a basetrap, for the walls, you'll need to use doors (Rexy can't go through doors) you'll need 3 layers of door stackup, then build an upgoing path, and done! You have successfully made a trap! Now find a Rexy and let it follow you to the trap, make sure to not go to far from Rexy, or else it'll lose your attention, once you've done it, go to your trap, also make sure the Rexy is following you, once the Rexy is in your trap, start shooting it with a bow, it'll eventually it'll go down, then put meat onto it's inventory, and force-feed him, there'll be a taming bar, you'll need to wait a while, when you're done, you've tamed a Rexy!

So a great trap I use is to get four metal billboards and a large bear trap. Put three down in a square shape, and once it gets stuck in the bear trap, place the last one. It might look scary, but in the trap its feet are stuck and the you can shoot it down with tranq arrows.

In early-mid game using a Pteranadon (or Argy if you have it) and picking at a Rex (easiest while it's fighting something like a bronto) is an easy way to get tons of exp or prime meat, if you run low on health then just try to lure it to another bronto or trike.

These look oh so hard to knock out I knocked out 2 in a row, I had alot of points put into speed though don't get the wrong message

How to tame this without kibble:fish to get prim fish meat them feed it soothing balm and raw prime fish meat it will be tamed

A Rex would be a really easy as long as you have a enhanced bow apprentice or up you could run while time to time shooting I m telling this to you because it worked for me at lvl 40 no prob Rex lvl 75 (same thing for taming) try it out (yes I couldn’t ride it big sad)

just ride galimimus and shoot em. and dont let raptors kill it like i did…

If you are Playing with friends, Get out Anything You can think of that is strong enough to tame a T. rex. But however you have to circle cause the T. rex will be distracted and while the people attack it. But I’m order to do that you still need to find a way to get on The T. rex. Then he can’t attack you. Then when you tame it make sure to give it levels to kill all the dinosaurs harder than the meteorite!

In mobile, if you are riding a time it doesn’t attack you, so you can chill with your Therizinosaur, aimlessly fly around with your Argentavis, or go on a killing spree with your Giga.

I have already told you how to tame them but here is one more thing:if you are trying to knock them out with the longneck rifle you’ll need about 200 tranq darts.(But don’t forget the backup darts incase you miss.

To tame these guys I prefer to use traps.You can build one easily if you have the items.You can use stone dinosaur gates an large beartraps to trap them.You can find tutorials on the internet.To knock them out you’ll beed a compound bow,a crossbow or a longneck rifle.(I prefer the longneck because of its not so high level engram)use tranq darts with the rifle,tranq arrows with the bows.
