So heres my tip for noobs that want a rex

1st. 30 tranq arrows

2nd. A crossbow

3nd. A high cliff that the rex cant get to

Now after u find a really high ciff that u can still shoot the rex but the rex cant get you

Shoot it

Then feed it raw prime meat

I prefer using a theri to getting meat cuz its ez to make things extinct in hervivore island

Boom u now have a evovled murder ostritch

Put some spike walls around your trap after you trap it. It’ll bite some unsuspecting herbivores that wander near and fight. Before you know it, it’s dead. Trust me, I have lost 4 high leveled rexes already.

DO NOT USE BIOTOXIN!!! It ruins the taming effectiveness, and ur rex will come out a low level. And plus on most maps narcotics are easier to make.

Tamed a tek Rex with raw meat 24 pieces easy tame. Level 154 up for more

It is bett to do it with a partner

These are not something that you want to mess with these are beasts of doom

Don't forget your taming food and narcotics! Don't get hit you will die!

Its eazy to tame a lvl 2 it only takes 8-10 tranq arrows

For a rex get a friend and a gallmims and your set if you are bad at tameing a rex

when getting the game your goal should be tame this. start with dodo. then a more deadly dilo. then a coward para. a fight back chad ingidon.

then a ladedeladedoyourtamesaremypropertynow raptor. then move to archys and bigger dinos (theino, carno, allo), then try a ferrous rex. see with a rex and bigger dinos you really need more of a advantage from food to knocking out weaknesses on the dino. lime the environment. then something annoying like a purlova or trodon.

To tame a levél 20-30 rex u will need atleast 20 őr 15 tranq darts(without missing)

Now when úr ready with úr rifle go with a beezulbfoo/quetzal bc rexes are to slow for them

Then shoot him and jump Behind him with beezulbfoo and shoot again

They should have a pack bonus. It have been proven many years ago that the rex did live together and hurt together.

They are beasts get them early game and you will be set they have really good attack and health make sure they have some stamina too

Seems like tek Rex takes more darts I put 50 reg darts and 10 shocking to knock a 180

A good tip when you’re taming rex, use a tanky Thylacoleo! Tranq the rex while you’re on the Thyla, I know it’s a very simple tip but it works like a charm (and maybe even better than a charm)!

If you have a bloodstalker or griffin would be good, they run away and then attack sometimes so both options are good for chasing it down.

I saw a tek Rex outside my base and I’m at the stage of just got a crossbow on my first world help

Rexes are good battle creatures for both boss fights or tribe war.

It is hard to tame rex due to having a partner or other creatures that might aggro on you or the rex itself. Especially the rex itself will aggro on the creature too. So all you need is a rideable creature to run around it and shoot tranq arrows with a cross bow and feed it prime or mutton if you can get a hold of a ovis.

First:You want to get a lot of wooden pillars and ladders. (And bio toxin)

Step 2:Get a lot of tranq arrows or darts.

Step 3:Get plenty of meat (I recommend prime meat)

Step 4:Enjoy your new Rex!
