Easy Rex trap:

Requirements,

1x large bear trap (optional)

4x Dino gateways (stone or higher)

Steps:

Place the first 3 gateways in a U shape with some space between because the Rex is fat.

Then place the bear trap in the middle.

Then find the Rex and lead it through the open part of the U shape.

Once the Rex is in place the last gate (this is much easier with the bear trap but not impossible)

Then happy taming! 👍

If you want to trap other large carnivores this same trap also works. (With gigas use metal instead of stone) 🦖

Hello there,you've probably seen the cliff strategy on here right? Well if you haven't then this is what u do,You go up a cliff that the rex can't climb and shoot it,or use meele weapon if u want,it's gonna be hard with that tho cuz u will get knocked off and forced to run.But yeah,ima just put in smt a little different,or maybe the same idk.

Step 1- Gather meat,make narcotics at mortar and pestel,and get bow or crossbow and make arrows

Step 2-Find T-Rex and cliff (or just lure the rex to a cliff if it's not already near 1)

Step 3-get on the cliff to where it can't reach u or climb up and shoot it till it runs (if it doesn't run then just kill it and find another 1)

Step 4-knock it out with club or hands and then feed it the meat,if u don't have much meat to give it then give the rex the meat and then go get some more meat.

Step 5-wait for the taming process to finish

And then BOOM,you've got urself a Tyrannosaurus Rex! I hope this helps and fun time taming and hunting (the hunting Is for the food for the rex)! Bye!🤩✨️😁👍

Okay these guys are INSANE!!! I had to outrun one on foot once and climbed a cliff and thought I was safe but the rex CLIMBED THE CLIFF and killed me and another time I was walking but ran right into a rex but luckily it was more interested in a para that was nearby so yeah avoid these till you are lvl 50

Just having a Rex in your base will encourage people not to mess with you on a pvp server. Regardless of level, Rex are a scary thing to see (and remember, people without telescope have no idea what level it is till they get closer than they want to be, so even a weak rex will scare off anyone yet who's yet to find crystal

If you see the Rex and you’re nothing but a chum with a spear I recommend you run into the woods; he might not see you but if he saw you your last hope is jumping off the cliff and pray there is spino-free water below

Just head to Carno Island at the northeast of the map. If you don't immediately find one, just murder everything in sight until one spawns lol. I recommend using a high dps Argie to delete the island's ecosystem.

Wile taking a Rex just use a trap it’s the most effective.

If your looking for a good level rec trust me it all DEPENDS ON YOUR LUCK I've been looking for a max level rex for alpha boss fights and I keep finding shitty rexes the highest I encountered were 125 and lvl 100 on beaches . I also found a 145 when I had no tranqs and when I came back it despawned . Just remember if you need an boss fighting army you need a rex army with good stats noy just levels

1 bring more tranq arrows meat and soothing balm if u cant afford main taming food for this beast

2 Find high terrain that he cant reach you

3 Use recommend using crossbow if u cant afford use Bow if you want to challenge yourself try slingshot with hundreds of rocks

4 if this beast run to you just dont chase be good at aiming until u take em down this is why other players and i recommend using crossbow if you on mid level

5 If you take rex down Read 1st step

be patience until you tamed it

Do basically you can tame it within 20 second just make a trap and trap it after that don't shoot him after traping rex just place bed and sleep after you sleep then shoot him with tranq arrow and when it unconscious you will See it's food is 0 now put couple of meat in it's inventry it will tame within 20-25 sec as per level of rex. I tame 10 level rex in 7 sec

If your looking for an alpha I always see them in the snow on the island

If you are a beginner, and you find yourself in a predicament, where a Rex is chasing you down here is what to do; 1. Scout, once it saw you it will roar, look everywhere that might get it stuck( Rocks, trees, ravines) or run through rough terrain!

2, vigilence if you here distant stomping, the Rex may still be following you, this leaves you with the same options as before or try to run around the beasts favourite food, it might take that opportunity rather than just a snack. (Parasaurs trikes or any herbivore that drops medium poop)

3. Prevention, Rex unlike any other creature releases a distinctive roar, being a raspy kinda like this; RAAAAAHHH or it’s primary roar ; roaA -A-A. Not very good at saying roars, but after you hear the roar, check your sorroundings as when it roars it saw something and is gonna chase it down until it eats something, that something will vary time to time, if you see a Rex stay away from it unless you have a decent mount, and or weapon!

Taming; wanna tame one of these beasts? I’ll tell you my way, step 1. Prepare, do not use melee weapons, as they do a lot of dmg per hit, so I recommend tranq arrows, and a decent ranked crossbow, remember all Rex’s regardless of lvl always have more than 1000 torpor, so pack a lot of tranq arrows, also pack scorpion kibble or prime meat for a quicker tame, prime works well as well. Step 2 the hunt, rex are commonly found in open areas; volcano, arctic, mountains, and plains) I recommend a flying animal put it on lowest follow, and fly arround till u see one. Step 3. The Knockout, the objective is to get as much tranqs as you can without it hitting you, so shoot it until I gets close then hop on your bird and fly further away to continue shooting it, once it runs get off you mount and chase it down while shooting it, once out put the taming supplies in its inventory! Ther you go you now have a Rex! Up if helpful

Just get a few of your boys and light that hoe up its not that hard really don't build gates and waste time just tranq that sucka

On mobile:

30 tranq arrows’ all it took to knock this guy down. (Used crossbow) even less if you aim for the head.

-Have at least 1 or 2 prime meat

(kill a nearby carno/sacro/boa)

-And at least 25 regular meat.

-In like 2 in game days youl have this guy

Sleep and leave this guy alone. He wont be eaten whilst unconscious by anybody.

Ps: Im by no means a pro, I only speak by experience. It’s THAT easy. Maybe theres an easier way but i find this method the easiest.

I was on Fjorder with my brother and was on Vannaland south which was supposed to be easy but we found 2 rexes and a tek one.
