So there's this lvl 145 Rex that spawned right in front of me while I am cooking meat for jerkies. I was low in health 'cuz I just fought a high lvl bronto; solo with an ascendant sword. It was attacking a Trike and I checked its lvl because I wanted to tame high lvl Rexes to make 2 super pet Rexes. I wanna tame it! But with one munch, I died and my Diplodocus came to the rescue while my other dinos were just too far to detect my death and my dilpodocus being attacked.
So when I respawned, I set all of them to follow. Even though it hurts to kill the Rex, I just don't have a choice. I made it bite me and all of them went crazy and attacked it in a frenzy for 10 seconds, and I watched it be killed in front of me. However, after the fight, my other Anky died and I am shookt as it was my diplo that tanked the Rex and my 5 well-trained raptors took the power, 2 Argies, 1 stego, 1 oviraptor, 2 dilos, 1 saber, 2 doedi, 1 scorpion and another anky. They are all high lvls and well-trained.
More Rex Encountering Tips
So there are average rexes. They drop meat, prime meat, hide, and keratin. There are tek rexes. They drop scrap metal, oil, electronics, and element dust. There are alpha rexes. They drop tons of prime, cool loot, and some hide and keratin. So tell me: WHY ARE THERE NO ALPHA TEK REXES THAT DROP POLYMER??? thank you for your time happy hunting
Once me and my friends were terrified of Rex, and one came stomping near our base. So we grabbed all our Dino's and it was anticlimactic as we pretty much killed it instantly. Donβt be scared of rex.
This is an attempt, but once I was killed by an alpha Rex it scared the crap out of me
When you encounter a rex when your a low level RUN!
I just found one near my base wish me luck and any tips
Them: low level can not kill it.
Me: stands on cliff and shoots it with a bow

I just wanted oil not a fight with that 63k hp alpha rex
As you prbly know I ran like U couldn't run
For noobs, low level rexs spawn at the southeastern part of the map
Don't go near them without a plan learned the hard way
