Tips for alpha rexs:

Bring a LOT of bullets and a good longneck

Shoot it from a high rock or from a tape

Bring a broth of enlightenment and eat just before you kill it for 2x XP

Good places to look are carno island and the snow area

High levels can give tens of thousands of XP with a broth, so the rhino horn and black pearl are worth it

I was exploring the shoreline from ark mobile then I encountered a level 1 Rex then I helped a Carno kill it then it attacked me 😂😂😂😂

I have figured out a new way to tame dinosaurs cut off the dinosaurs meat wise in the area try and keep the dinosaur in the area and send a dodo bird out to attack the tea Rex with bunches of Botox in and it had the tea Rex eat the Botox and it’ll knock it out you go feed it meet make sure you have plenty of Botox in and you’ll have a pet your ex and no I would not recommend trying this whenever your level one side effects may be dead dodo bird hey might find you and run but seriously You better find a good hiding spot

Just saying if u want good guns and crossbows naked run the lava cave, I did it and got a gun that does 413 damage and a crossbow that does 153 damage.

Mine was really easy to tame, I just used a pterosaur to get on a mountain and used 10 tranq arrows and she was out. I only needed 28 raw meat and 1 biotoxin before she was tame. Keep in mind however that I am on mobile so it’s most likely different if you’re on something else.

Use toxican or narcotic arrows and walk back slowly while shooting it then feed it raw prime meat.

Use 4 metal billboards to block it in as u do a rhino . Place 3 in a square shape with one side missing lure it in the trap and place it behind it then get tranking

I was a tiny little fella not very good just hunting with my crossbow see one of these guys make sure I’m in the high ground ten shots with arrow on him plus 5 shots with a normal bow and he’s gone. Not very good loot though I was disappointed.

My brother and i tried to knock a lvl 15 male out with tranq arrows on a crossbow. We had 17 and didnt take it, we set up mortar and pestles to make narcotics and tranqs but that also failed. Eventually we used wooden clubs and were still trying to ko it. 😅

Jump on a rock and knock it out with a slingshot and have meat ready.

I found my 150 rex between the red boss battle thing and the snow biome in the sand beach where it's almost the 'U' shape. I think it's east. this may not be the most useful information but it could help

An easy way to tame a red is have a tribe member pick you up on a flyer or you can use a wyvern/quetzal to stand on their back while taming (have them on follow so they don't try to land another way is to have a strong creature with lots of health while sitting on it fire arrows/tranq darts at it I myself use the stand on a ledge and hope it doesn't come up method because that's quite easy single player p.s it didn't work last time

Just beat it with a club and it works every time they said.

Build a stone foundation with 3 stone walls and one stone doorway, put the stone door in with 4 stone doorways above and a ceiling on top, lead it over jump in and tranq it, happy tamimg

Build a 3x3 STONE building, lure it at it with u in it. Close all windows and when u can see it’s head peeking at u, nail it with ur club. It might take a ton of clubs and time but it’s faster than collecting all those narco berries. *if u use fists it’ll kill it

So I've been PRIMING alot lately and this first time I Perfect Prime a 150 Rex, Dodex said that it would gain 54 levels but instead came out 205 meaning it was 55 levels not 54.?

If theirs no other aggressive creatures around u just run around him and shoot him cuz this thing is slow as fu in the wild
