If you want a ravager early bola one and riddle it with tranq arrows then bola the rest or lure them to another dino feed them mutton for a fast tameing process:)

100% if you going for a high lvl use a Pitt fall trap also if your going for pack game 3 females and 1 male high lvl then breed them then keep the higher lvl male and get all the new females and keep rinse and repeat until you happy with army Byee!

What I did is I went and used a bola on it and shot in the head you need a few but not a lot tranq arrows but bring extra just in case once knocked out find either Ovis or parasaur (ovis is better for raw mutton)then there,you have a ravager!

If you knock out a ravager and it goes underwater and starts drowning, you can save it if you have a lasso and equus you can lasso it out of the water. This might work for other creatures around this size as well and I hope this helps.

Easiest and safe way to tame the ravager is to have a trap. A stone trap with 2x2 in a square and 2 walls high. (They can jump) or make a 10x10 and 3 walls high. And stairs to lead them up. (A multi trap. Can hold anything up to a bronto.)

Get the ravagers attention. Either with a really good strong tame that can take the ravagers attack. Especially the bleed attack. Like a good thyla. Or use a flyer. I use snow owl mostly. Or a wyvern. They don't agro to wyverns so you beed to be close to the ravagers and face your wyvern to the direction of the trap. Unmount the wyvern. When the ravagers agro, mount your wyvern and run. (Not fly) with the wyvern to the trap. When the ravagers are in the trap fly of fast. Land and start tranqing the ravagers. Do not tranq the alpha first. Tranq all the others first. When they are sleeping the alpha looses the pack bonus and he/she will tranq out faster the if the pack bonus is on. Hope it was helpful. I was taming a level 95 ravager and the minute I put in the prime meat it was immediately tamed so quickly

why do they have so much torpor!

They spawn in groups so best way to tame them is the set up a little 1x1 trap with stairs or if you can’t build where they are use a net gun and trap the one you want and lead the other way to be killed wait the the net to brake and until you can trap it again then just shoot it with tranq darts or tranq arrows and boom new little vampire wolf pet also they have 50%weight reduction to all material

Build a 4x4 pen out of stone doorways that is 4 high with a zip line coming down into it while a ravager is chasing you get on the zip line and go into the pen it will follow you then run out the doorway and knock it down when tamed you can get it out by climbing back up the zipline

This thing is worth taming so try it prepared because if you can pick out the strongest from a few packs you’ll have a great little pack of yours capable for hunting and fighting

Can be picked up by argentavis, can jump while bola'd.

14,000 health thyla and you think you can knock it out b4 it kills it… think again it shreds quickly!!! Just remember to trap it b4 you attempt to knock it out. Rip Luna

Bola and Tranq crossbow should work

If you manage to get a Karkinos then you can single out the alphas with out retaliation by tossing the scrubs away with its grab. As the Ravagers don't naturally attack them.

Be careful no matter what bo matter how you tame them. Used a pen and as I was jumping over it to safety the ravager,that I was taming, sniped me with its teeth and mauled me to death IN THE PEN!!!

If you are looking to tame on of these helldogs, have bolas and a bow or crossbow with plenty of tranqs. If you are feeling brave, use a slingshot. If you want to die, don’t bring bolas.

If you are near (safe) water, lure the ravagers in the water. They swim very slow so you can easily tranq or kill them. When they start running away, follow them out of the water and you can knock them out.

You CAN actually tame them with regular raw meat,all you gotta do is knock it out,give it the raw meat,and hope/pray that it works…for me it ACTUALLY DID…TWICE!

If you’re trying to tame one...PLEASE do not bola it unlesss it is really low level. These things have a decent amount of torpor so if you’re using the crossbow you’ll get like 10 shots of arrows before it escapes. Instead, build a trap that is one stone foundation and surround it with stone door frames. Make sure they are two walls high because these things can jump.

I see everyone suggesting bolas when it's so much easier to use a net projectile to trap it then use a high damage tranq gun then feed it mutton and wait, my tribe mate has 2 and it didn't take him no time to trap and tranq it
