I managed to tame a level 24 raptor by shooting it once with a dart

If you shoot it in the face with tranc arrows in knock out quick

Try a bolla to make it stuck and then knock it out tame it with me or prime meat it doesn’t care and then you have a super op tame my one’s name is super raptor

Here’s a better chance and not much of a arrow waste use crossbow and shoot them at the head it makes it faster to make it asleep

They can escape a trap made of doors on Ascended. I didn’t see how (I’m guessing they fit through the door space now) but I dropped one in a taming box made of doors 3 high and was parking my Argy when I heard all this commotion and he was going nuts on my tames I had set to Passive.

I have killed 30 low level raptors and still can't find a good level 145

Heres what my 3 man tribe did pm the island...coords, 77.1, 65..built a gated base on the river (behemoth gates), theres an alpha raptor spawn nearby, often two or three of them around base all the time, great xp and loot...but you CANNOT TAME ALPHAS. but you can use doorframes and another behemoth gate to build a taming pen off your perimeter wall, works great, lead something in (like a raptor), it cant fit thru doorframes, tranq and tame, open the inside gate when complete and walk it into base

Raptors are some what hard and easy to tame due to being in packs or surrounded by other creatures that might aggro on it or you, or it will Arggo on the creature itself and might get killed in the process. Craft some bolas to trap it, have tranq arrows or a club if you cant get darts or other knock out weapons or creatures, and meat suggesting prime meat, mutton (both are good raw or cooked).

Ez way to tame raptors✨

1. GET BOLAS I promise it’s so easy with bolas

2. Bola it… duh

3. Hit with tranq arrows/ boomerang etc.

4. Meat.

5. Now u have a raptor well done

When taming these things make sure to beware that it’s pack isn’t around because if it’s pack is around and figures out it’s friend is knocked out it will start to come after you. Also these things dont have a lot of weight so make sure to level them up on weight.

When ever I am taming raptors I recommend carry a few bolas and take a high hp mount (trikes work great). then once you find a pack bola them tame the highest lv and then one of the opposite gender for a breeding pair.then you can kill or tame the rest

This creature is easy to tame. Just make a bola. Crasft tranq arrows. Craft 10 tranq arrows just in case.

Be extremely careful, you are likely to die from something else

How to tame a Raptor:

1-Find the Raptor

2-Bola the Raptor (Or a Friend)

3-Punch the Raptor/ Beat the Raptor with a Bat/ Use Tranq Arrows, ect, until it’s knocked out.

4-Feed it Raw Meat (Cooked Meat has less taming effectiveness, also if the ‘Unconsciousness’ Bar is low, feed it Narcoberries/Narcotics)

5-When the Raptor is Tamed, give it a Name

6-Enjoy your new Raptor!

Knock’N’Tame: Ep 6 seas 1: Raptor

Hello everyone! Happy Carnivore day! We are introducing the raptor!

The cheetah speed, pack master, carnivorous, raptor!

Tame: this will be a lucky game, they are mostly easy to tame In mid game. Here’s the stuff we need before we start: craft a bola. Get tranq arrows or tranqs + rifle. Get some meat from dodos or any other. Now, here’s the best part. Find it. Bola, tranq, feed! Now you have a killing machine.

Knock/oof: to oof this dino, you need: A rex or any other big boi dino. Then just chomp. Now you oofed killing machine.

If you want to tame it with a slingshot bola it and hit him in the head. If its low level u shouldnt hit it very hard.

These things will be your torturers in the early game, as they have a pounce ability that can knock you off your mount or pin you to the ground. However, they are suceptible to Bolas. For this reason, always keep Bolas in your hotbar. Alternitively, you can just level your Movement Speed to 112%, where you can just barely outrun it by sprinting.

To tame, just Bola and use a Slingshot or Tranq Arrows to knock out. Feed it meat.

Raptors are good early meat hunters, but they don't have much use otherwise.
