I thought there was only one, so I tried, knocking it out whole group of raptors came out at me, and my raptor just came out of nowhere and killed them all I caught some primate from a Alpha raptor I don’t know what level she was on, but she saved my life. She barely even got hurt, and then a Sacro, popped out of nowhere and killed me. So check if there is more than one raptor, because if there is to run because there might be more.

Most of the time I just do level 100 servers so I get a bow arrows, bolos, tranq arrows. usually I can find a raptor most places. Hard places the hills near the sea, medium near swamp, easy running around.I let it see me and I’ll pull out my bola racket. If you get too close, it will break the bola to stand like 10 feet away and shoot it with tranq arrows. It’s best with a crossbow because I would like to take two or maybe 10. Make a saddle and boom you got a raptor smash that button please 🥺🥹

Easiest passive tame, just shove 10 mejoberries down its butthole!

Don't knock it out witha club or your fists what most people don't know is that they can still attack you while bolaed so use a slingshot to knock it out up if helpful

If you want to watch it’s Tpatty Plays but anyway I was always scared to tame a raptor but then I realized it’s really easy just bring 1-3 bolas for if u miss or it gets out always bring a back up club so ur not wasting time crafting a new one if it breaks and also DONT BE SCARED it’s not that hard!!!

I was making traps an I found that a raptor CAN fit through a wooden doorframe but CANNOT fit through a stone doorframe. 🤔 but don’t believe me, try it.

Bola le raptor

Tip:be careful cuz often times they come in packs so they will ✨GROUP POUNCE✨(aka softlock)

Knock out le raptor with item of choice

Shove a handful of meat (or prime meat) up it's butt

Wait a bit (keep shoveing narcotics down it's mouth so it doesn't wake up)

Name it Vicky if girl and Andrew if boy (in honor of this tip)

And it will love u till the end of your life!

I think you craft a bola and a club throw the bola at it an hit it with the club give it 9 raw meet and it’s yours

They definitely CAN jump through doors !!! Be careful !!

If u wanna take a raptor hush punch it and feed it meat it's esey and simple

Just stay far and shoot tranq arrow for 3 times to make it unconscious and feed raw meat.

If you want to tame the way that I do it is to just get a bear trap a crossbow recommend other then bow or get a longneck rifle tranc ammo go to the raptor make it chase you then place the bear trap shoot it in the head and give it meat

If you want this, take a lot of bolus and some necrotic arrows (a slingshot might also work) and some meat kill any Dino you don’t want in a pack first, then bola the one you want knock it and give it some meat. Boom. These are earlier tames and I recommend getting a different mount later on
