When your walking around in ark always carry at least one bola. There good for taming small to medium creechers. There also great hunting and and defense. For instance, "you ever been just walking around and a random raptor, dire wolf, saber tooth, or scorpion comes out and attacks you. There nock back or movements make it hard to get away." You can keep a bola on you and use it for just Such an accession. This in also just about the only way to check there level without them seeing you assuming you don't have a telescope. It can also help with attacking people.

Okay I am gonna try this so I am not sure if it will succeed but here is how I will try and tame a raptor

Step 1:tame 5 dilos

Step 2:craft a bola or 2 (I made 3 just in case)

Step 3:find raptors (they are most common in the north or west)

Step 4:battle to the unconscious

Step 5:feed about 24 raw meat

Step 6:enjoy your raptor😁

I advise not using a scorpion to knock out a raptor because every time I try it I either get clawed of my scorpion or I accidentally kill the raptor😔.

So I have god mode and I have a bronto 12 raptors and 23 dodos and seven megalodons

Guys if you want to tame a raptor get bola and tranq arrows and a cross bow because when they jump on you they deal a lot of damage

1. Grab bolas, a bow and tranq darts

2. Locate raptor

3. Bola raptor

4. Pill out shotgun or assault rifle if needed

5. Kill raptor

6. Hunt down every raptor on the island. Leave no raptor alive. Every. Last. One.

7. Oh. wrong category

VERY easy to tame. Just bola it and punch its tail. Done

These creatures can be real jerks early game, but they are relatively easy to tame and can be a game changer. They are fast mounts for getting around, and have a strong attack. Things to look out for are health and weight. Their pin attack is great when killing smaller creatures and humans. On easy mode, my 95% imprinted lvl 50 raptor, Stormclaw, absolutely SLAYS everything and anything. I pump mostly weight, health, and movement speed. They aren’t the strongest, but they are great early-to-mid game tames.

Use a bola then knock it out with club give it meat

Getting a raptor early on to a new server is a game changer once you unlock the club and Bola just make 3 bolas find a lone raptor on a beach, Bola it, then go to either side of it right behind their arms and smack him in the head a ton. Anything over level 10 will most likely break out of your Bola before they get knocked out just run back a little bit as the raptor will have to do a semi big loop to turn around giving you time to get some distance and pull out another Bola. Repeat until knocked and fill with meet and bam raptor.

Make sure once you bola it to hit behind it otherwise it will attack you.

One day I was, I was looking for a male raptor for my female I spotted one I was all alone. I thought there was only one, so I tried, knocking it out whole group of raptors came out at me, and my raptor just came out of nowhere and killed them all I caught some primate from a Alpha raptor I don’t know what level she was on, but she saved my life. She barely even got hurt, and then a Sacro, popped out of nowhere and killed me. So check if there is more than one raptor, because if there is to run because there might be more.

I tamed two raptors I’m am planning to breed them wish me luck!
