(1) craft a bola and 3-15 tranq arrows depending on level

(2) find a good level raptor

(3) knock it out and tame it with meat or kibble

It is easier with meat or prime meat

Taming a 135 lvl Raptor rn and according to Dododex, i only needed 3 Parasaur kibble when I actually needed 5…lets just say im a little sad about losing some levels on her but i know to bring a little extra next time (and hopefully this tells you to bring a little extra for your next tames too!!)

1: craft bola ( must be level 7 )

2: find raptor

3: bola raptor

4: put meat in inventory

5: done

Directions: Find a raptor by foot or a mount. (Pterosaurs such as Pteranodon are most effective at finding them.) Travel southeast or northwest. Once you have located your raptor, if it is feeding or attacking something, wait until it’s done. When it’s done, wind up your bola and approach it slowly. If you are using the Large Bear Trap, place it. When the raptor chases you, throw the bola. If you have a bear trap set, lure the raptor by crossbow or walk up to it. When the raptor is immobilized, shoot it 2 or 3 times with Tranq Arrows. If it is high level, shoot it with four Tranq Arrows. When unconscious, feed it with something. Your choice. Once you are done taming, create a Raptor Saddle. When mounted, this destroyer will kill anything weaker than it. It can also perform a pounce attack to anything smaller or equal size to it. Last step: Change settings by clicking the fossil if needed, then name it.

Tips: When mounted, this is one of the only dinosaurs which can jump. Starve feeding or regularly feeding, either way is the same. Be careful if they are in a pack; packs can easily kill you! I would suppose that you upgrade it’s health, damage, speed, and sometimes weight.

How to befriend a raptor

1. Watch it get pretty low on health

2. When low around 100 hp punch it or sling shot it

3. When unconscious feed Raw meat, Prime meat, etc.

4. No Narcotics needed

5. When tamed destroy everything

6. KILL EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING DO NOT SHOW MERCY IT WILL ONLY MAKE YOU WEAK KILL KILL EVERYONE

1. Find raptor desired raptor

2. Clear surrounding area of pests like dilos and other creatures

3. have some meat

4. Have around 10 tranq arrows but only few will be needed for low level raptor

5. When raptor runs at you quick tranq in face.

Make sure you always kill every other raptor around the one you want to tame, these feckers are cannibals

Easiest way to tame: get them right next to a wall and THROW a boomerang at its head repeatedly. 11 hits for a lvl 150. Can also be used to kill it if you do the melee

So for the newbies that don’t have enough Engrams :

1: Find a raptor

2: Equip your Bola

3: let it charge you when it’s close release the Bola

4: go at his side or his back ( Don’t go in front of it )

5: keep ponding him till he’s unconscious

6: Feed it meat

Then wait for it to tame .

How to tame a raptor:

Must have: 2-3 Bolas, 3-5 tranq arrows, [OPTIONAL] Raptor Saddle, meat [Prime or normal.] or Para kibble.

1. Get the high ground and bola the raptor, first try will most definitely be a miss.

2. start shooting it with tranq arrows. You can also use fists, but it'll most likely die.

3. You can wait for it to loose hunger, but they're quick tames so you can feed it instantly.

[OPTIONAL] 4. Saddle it and get it back to your base, let it heal and do anything you want with it after.

LvL up right after taming recommended

A LOT OF PEOPLE DON’T HAVE A RAPTER BUT IT IS A MUCH HARDER TO Tame

Rapter is very fast , so u have to climb a rock or if there is no rocks near to you then u have to make a bola and throw on the rapter then make 4 wooden foundations and 4 wooden wall (place it ) after this you must have 50 raw meat , raw prime meat , or parasaur kibble you have tamed your rapter

So far I have only tamed one of these in Ark Mobile: Okay so they are super easy to tame! You use a club and/or a bola, also you will need a Dino to attack it at the same time, once it is knocked out then just feed it any type of meat! Works for me all the time

I went to go tame a raptor and when I finally found one it literally disappeared in front of my eyes, I heard stuff about that when you want to tame one they disappear and when you don’t want them they appear, And that is so true. But I didn’t think it would actually disappear. Point is it’s pretty hard to tame raptors.

This is a easy tame but hard enemy, so first you have to level up until you can craft bolas(nets or something) then always bring one tamed dino(dilo or turtle dino for starters if you were ambushed). So if you saw one FIRST and it's busy or just wandering then you have a upper hand just ready your bola, roll it then throw to a raptor then spam club or tranqs and PLS AIM AT HIS HEAD he receives more torpidity/damage so be careful. Hey if u are trying to tame all you need is 1 bolo 1 club use the bolo and hit the raptor once the raptor is stuck get up behind it then knock out with club then feed any sort of meat hope this helps.

If you a newbie, you need a bola, a slingshot and about 50 stone when you find one bola it and get the slingshot out and start firing the stones. Feed it meat and prime meat which you can get from stegos. If you just loaded in stay away from them

To tame a raptor if you’re a lower level all you have to do is bola it and then use tranq arrows and make sure you are hitting it in the face. After it’s down let it get to halfway unconsciousness and then feed parasaur kibble. It will tame super fast.

raptor usaully spawn in forests and you can bola them they have low torpor. if they are in a pack you can kill with a bow far away they are pretty weak. if you have one you can use it for taming running and sometimes hunting small dinos such like dilo or even a carbo

Use a bola and punch him until he is knocked out.
